في مشهد رمضاني نادر، يعيش سكان قرية تركية تجربة استثنائية تجعلهم يفطرون في توقيتين مختلفين، رغم أن المسافة التي تفصل بينهم لا تتجاوز بضعة أمتار.
طريق ضيق لا يزيد عرضه على سبعة أمتار يشطر القرية إداريًا إلى نصفين، تابعين لمحافظتين مختلفتين، ما أدى إلى اختلاف موعد أذان المغرب بين جانبي الطريق بنحو دقيقة واحدة.
أحد الجانبين يتبع قرية «شين تيبه» ضمن محافظة أوردو المطلة على البحر الأسود، بينما ينتمي الجانب الآخر إلى قرية «أمبار تيبه» الواقعة في حدود محافظة سامسون المجاورة. هذا الانقسام لم يبقَ حبيس الخرائط الرسمية، بل انعكس على تفاصيل الحياة اليومية، وفي مقدمتها توقيت الإفطار خلال شهر رمضان.
وقد شُيّد في كل جانب مسجد مستقل يعتمد التوقيت الرسمي للمحافظة التابع لها. فعند غروب الشمس، يُرفع الأذان في مسجد «شين تيبه» وفق حسابات أوردو، فيما يتأخر الأذان في مسجد «أمبار تيبه» القريب منه بدقيقة تقريبًا وفق توقيت سامسون.
ويرجع هذا الفارق البسيط إلى اختلاف خطوط الطول والحسابات الفلكية المعتمدة رسميًا لكل محافظة.
وبحسب جدول رمضان لهذا العام، يتطابق موعد الإفطار في جانبي القرية خلال الأيام الأربعة الأولى فقط، قبل أن يبدأ التباين في بقية أيام الشهر. ورغم ذلك، لا يشكل الأمر مصدر خلاف أو توتر بين السكان، بل أصبح جزءًا من روتينهم المعتاد منذ عقود.
وعند توجيه دعوة إفطار بين عائلتين من الجانبين، يجتمع الجميع حول مائدة واحدة ويفطرون في توقيت موحد، بينما يلتزم بقية السكان بموعد المسجد التابع لمنطقتهم.
مختار «شين تيبه»، إنجين أرسلان، يؤكد أن المسألة تعود ببساطة إلى فروق جغرافية دقيقة تؤثر على توقيت غروب الشمس، مشيرًا إلى أن الأهالي تأقلموا مع هذا الواقع منذ استقرارهم في المنطقة قبل نحو 80 عامًا.
وهكذا، تحوّل طريق ضيق إلى رمز لحكاية فريدة تتجدد كل رمضان: سبعة أمتار فقط تفصل بين الجيران، لكن صيامهم واحد، وروحهم واحدة، وتقاليدهم تجمعهم مهما اختلفت الدقيقة.
In a rare Ramadan scene, the residents of a Turkish village experience an exceptional situation that allows them to break their fast at two different times, despite the distance between them being only a few meters.
A narrow road, no wider than seven meters, divides the village administratively into two halves, belonging to different provinces, leading to a difference of about one minute in the time of the Maghrib call to prayer between the two sides of the road.
One side belongs to the village of “Çin Tepe” within the province of Ordu overlooking the Black Sea, while the other side belongs to the village of “Embar Tepe,” located within the borders of the neighboring province of Samsun. This division is not just confined to official maps; it has reflected on the details of daily life, especially the timing of iftar during the month of Ramadan.
Each side has an independent mosque that follows the official timing of its respective province. At sunset, the call to prayer is announced at the “Çin Tepe” mosque according to Ordu’s calculations, while the call to prayer at the nearby “Embar Tepe” mosque is delayed by about a minute according to Samsun’s timing.
This slight difference is due to variations in longitude and the astronomical calculations officially adopted by each province.
According to this year’s Ramadan schedule, the iftar time on both sides of the village coincides only during the first four days, after which the variation begins in the remaining days of the month. Nevertheless, this does not cause any disputes or tension among the residents; rather, it has become part of their usual routine for decades.
When an iftar invitation is extended between families from both sides, everyone gathers around one table and breaks their fast at a unified time, while the rest of the residents adhere to the timing of the mosque in their area.
The headman of “Çin Tepe,” Engin Arslan, confirms that the issue simply stems from slight geographical differences that affect the timing of sunset, noting that the residents have adapted to this reality since they settled in the area about 80 years ago.
Thus, a narrow road has turned into a symbol of a unique story that renews every Ramadan: only seven meters separate the neighbors, but their fasting is one, their spirit is one, and their traditions unite them, no matter the minute difference.
