باشرت وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد، ممثلةً بالملحقية الدينية في سفارة المملكة لدى جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا، تنفيذ برنامجي خادم الحرمين الشريفين لتفطير الصائمين وتوزيع التمور، وذلك خلال حفل التدشين الذي أُقيم في مقر السفارة بالعاصمة بريتوريا، بحضور الملحق الديني محمد الرويلي، وعدد من المسؤولين وأئمة المساجد وممثلي المراكز والجمعيات الإسلامية.
ويأتي تنفيذ البرنامجين امتداداً لجهود المملكة في خدمة المسلمين حول العالم خلال شهر رمضان، وتعزيز حضورها الإنساني والإغاثي في الدول المستفيدة.
وبلغت كمية التمور المخصصة لجنوب أفريقيا 15 طناً، يستفيد منها نحو 60 ألف مستفيد، فيما خُصصت 3 أطنان لكل من مملكة ليسوتو، وجمهورية بوتسوانا، ومملكة إسواتيني، ليصل إجمالي الكميات الموزعة إلى 24 طناً، يستفيد منها نحو 96 ألف شخص في الدول الأربع.
وأكدت الوزارة أن البرنامجين يجسدان حرص القيادة على تلمّس احتياجات المسلمين في مختلف دول العالم، وتعزيز أواصر الأخوة والتكافل خلال الشهر الفضيل.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom’s Embassy in the Republic of South Africa, has commenced the implementation of the two programs of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for breaking the fast for fasting individuals and distributing dates. This took place during the launch ceremony held at the embassy in the capital, Pretoria, in the presence of the Religious Attaché, Mohammed Al-Ruwaili, along with several officials, mosque imams, and representatives of Islamic centers and associations.
The implementation of these programs is an extension of the Kingdom’s efforts to serve Muslims around the world during the month of Ramadan and to enhance its humanitarian and relief presence in the beneficiary countries.
The quantity of dates allocated for South Africa is 15 tons, benefiting about 60,000 recipients, while 3 tons have been allocated for each of the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Republic of Botswana, and the Kingdom of Eswatini, bringing the total distributed quantity to 24 tons, benefiting approximately 96,000 people in the four countries.
The ministry confirmed that the two programs embody the leadership’s commitment to addressing the needs of Muslims in various countries around the world and to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity during the holy month.
