تعهد المشرف العام على يد الوحدة محمد القرشي، بحصد بطولات الموسم القادم كما حدث في عهد إدارة حاتم خيمي في الفترة السابقة، عندما حقق الثلاثية (الدوري والكأس والسوبر)، مقابل توفير المال من أجل استقطاب لاعبين محليين وأجانب لدعم الفريق، وقال: «إذا سارت الأمور كما هي عليه الآن فليس لدينا سوى مسارين للنهوض بيد الوحدة؛ المسار الأول خطة قصيرة المدى تعتمد على جلب عناصر تضيف للفريق قوة فنية تجعله ينهي موسمه الحالي ضمن الأربعة الكبار، والمسار الثاني خطة بعيدة المدى بالعمل على كشف المواهب وصقلها من الدرجات السنية وبعد 3 مواسم يتم تصعيدهم للفريق الأول مع التعاقد مع عناصر أجنبية»، مشيداً بالدعم الذي يتلقاه من رئيس النادي حاتم خيمي في الوقت الراهن رغم الضائقة المالية التي يعيشها النادي.

He said: “If things continue as they are now, we have only two paths to elevate Al-Wehda; the first path is a short-term plan that relies on bringing in elements that add technical strength to the team, allowing it to finish the current season among the top four, and the second path is a long-term plan focused on discovering and refining talents from the youth categories, and after three seasons, promoting them to the first team while also signing foreign players.” He praised the support he receives from the club president, Hatim Khaimi, at the moment, despite the financial difficulties the club is facing.
