برعاية محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، أقامت الإدارة العامة للتعليم بمحافظة جدة، مساء أمس (الإثنين)، احتفالها بمناسبة «يوم التأسيس» وذلك بمقر المركز الكشفي بجدة، بحضور قيادات تعليم جدة ومنسوبي ومنسوبات الإدارة والمدارس وجمع غفير من أولياء الأمور والأهالي.
بدأت فعاليات الحفل بكلمة مدير عام تعليم جدة ألقاها نيابةً عنها المساعد للشؤون التعليمية الدكتور عثمان مسملي، أوضح فيها أن يوم التأسيس يُستلهم فيه البدايات الكبرى للدولة السعودية التي قامت على قيم راسخة ورؤية بعيدة؛ حيث تعاقبت الأجيال واستمرت مسيرتها على مدى ثلاثة قرون، قويةً بهويتها، ثابتةً في مبادئها، وجاعلةً الإنسان محور التنمية وغايتها.
وأشار إلى أن التعليم مثّل ركيزةً أساسية في هذه المسيرة المباركة؛ كونه وعاء القيم ومنارة العقول، ومن خلاله انتقلت المملكة من الكتاتيب الأولى إلى الجامعات والبيئات التعليمية الرقمية، في صورة تطورٍ متوازن يجمع بين الأصالة والتجديد.
وأضاف أن احتفاء الإدارة العامة للتعليم بمحافظة جدة بيوم التأسيس يأتي تأكيدًا على وعيٍ مؤسسي بأهمية المناسبة، ودور التعليم في صناعة الأثر وبناء الشخصية الوطنية الواعية، وترسيخ الانتماء في نفوس الطلاب والطالبات، انسجامًا مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، رافعًا في ختام الكلمة رسالة وفاء واعتزاز للقيادة الرشيدة بهذه المناسبة الوطنية التي يُستحضر فيها الجذور ويُستشرف المستقبل، سائلًا المولى عز وجل أن يحفظ وطننا ويديم عليه استقراره ويبارك خطى قيادته نحو مستقبل يليق بمجده.
عقب ذلك، قدّم عدد من طلاب وطالبات مدارس تعليم جدة عرضًا مسرحيًا بعنوان «سما المجد» في ثلاث لوحات عبّرت عن مسيرة تأسيس الوطن؛ مستهلًا بالجذور الأولى منذ مانع بن ربيعة، مرورًا بمرحلة التأسيس على يد الإمام محمد بن سعود، وصولًا إلى لوحةٍ جسّدت فخر الحاضر وأبرزت تلاحم الشعب مع قيادته الرشيدة.
هذا وقد شهد الاحتفاء فعالياتٍ متنوعة تمثلت في المعرض الفني المصاحب الذي ضم عددًا من الأعمال الفنية بأيدي المعلمين والمعلمات والطلبة، وركن الأزياء التراثية، إلى جانب أركان الأكلات الشعبية لمختلف مناطق المملكة، وخيمة الشعر، وركن الحرف اليدوية والألعاب الشعبية في مشهدٍ عكس ثراء الهوية الوطنية وعمق الموروث الثقافي.
Under the patronage of Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, the General Administration of Education in Jeddah held its celebration for “Founding Day” yesterday evening (Monday) at the Scout Center in Jeddah, attended by educational leaders from Jeddah, staff from the administration and schools, and a large number of parents and community members.
The event began with a speech delivered on behalf of the Director General of Education in Jeddah by the Assistant for Educational Affairs, Dr. Othman Musmali, in which he explained that Founding Day is inspired by the great beginnings of the Saudi state, which was founded on solid values and a far-reaching vision; generations have succeeded each other, and its journey has continued for three centuries, strong in its identity, steadfast in its principles, and making the human being the focus and goal of development.
He pointed out that education has represented a fundamental pillar in this blessed journey; as it is the vessel of values and the beacon of minds, through which the Kingdom has transitioned from the first schools to universities and digital educational environments, in a balanced development that combines authenticity and renewal.
He added that the General Administration of Education in Jeddah’s celebration of Founding Day comes as a confirmation of institutional awareness of the importance of the occasion, and the role of education in creating impact and building a conscious national identity, instilling belonging in the hearts of students, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. He concluded his speech with a message of loyalty and pride to the wise leadership on this national occasion that recalls the roots and anticipates the future, asking Almighty God to preserve our homeland, maintain its stability, and bless its leadership’s steps towards a future worthy of its glory.
Following that, a number of male and female students from Jeddah’s educational schools presented a theatrical performance titled “The Sky of Glory” in three scenes that expressed the journey of the nation’s founding; starting from the earliest roots with Mani’ bin Rabiah, through the founding phase led by Imam Muhammad bin Saud, culminating in a scene that embodied the pride of the present and highlighted the unity of the people with their wise leadership.
The celebration also featured various activities represented in a accompanying art exhibition that included several artworks created by teachers and students, a corner for traditional costumes, as well as sections for popular dishes from different regions of the Kingdom, a poetry tent, and a corner for handicrafts and traditional games in a scene that reflected the richness of national identity and the depth of cultural heritage.
