قدم البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن دورة تدريبية متخصصة في الصيانة الوقائية للمولدات الكهربائية بمحافظة أرخبيل سقطرى، استهدفت 57 فنيًا من العاملين في محطات الكهرباء، بهدف رفع كفاءتهم الفنية وتعزيز جاهزية منظومة التوليد الكهربائي واستدامتها.
وركّزت الدورة على أهمية الصيانة الوقائية في تجنب الأعطال المفاجئة، وإطالة العمر الافتراضي للمعدات، والحفاظ على كفاءة التشغيل، إضافة إلى تطبيق جداول الصيانة الدورية وفق ساعات التشغيل المعتمدة. كما تضمنت محورًا متكاملًا حول إجراءات الأمن والسلامة في محطات الكهرباء، وآليات التعامل مع حالات الطوارئ لضمان بيئة عمل آمنة.
وجمعت الدورة بين الجانب النظري والتطبيق العملي، وتلقى المتدربون شرحًا حول الفحص اليومي وتحليل مؤشرات الأداء، إلى جانب التدريب على صيانة الأنظمة الحيوية للمولدات، في إطار جهود البرنامج لبناء قدرات الكوادر الفنية المحلية ودعم استمرارية خدمات الكهرباء في سقطرى.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen conducted a specialized training course in preventive maintenance of electric generators in the Socotra Archipelago, targeting 57 technicians working in power stations, with the aim of enhancing their technical skills and improving the readiness and sustainability of the electric generation system.
The course focused on the importance of preventive maintenance in avoiding sudden breakdowns, extending the lifespan of equipment, and maintaining operational efficiency, in addition to implementing periodic maintenance schedules based on approved operating hours. It also included a comprehensive section on safety and security procedures in power stations, as well as emergency response mechanisms to ensure a safe working environment.
The course combined theoretical knowledge with practical application, and the trainees received explanations on daily inspections and performance indicator analysis, along with training on the maintenance of vital systems for generators, as part of the program’s efforts to build the capacities of local technical staff and support the continuity of electricity services in Socotra.
