إنه يوم التأسيس السعودي العظيم.. تحت قيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي عهده الأمين الأمير محمد بن سلمان.
إنه مناسبة وطنية.. تحتفل بها المملكة العربية السعودية حكومة وشعبا.. ويُجسد هذا اليوم العمق التاريخي والحضاري للمملكة، ويؤكد جذور الدولة السعودية الممتدة لأكثر من ثلاثة قرون
وعاشت فيه شبه الجزيرة العربية الوحدة والاستقرار وانتشار التوحيد والعقيدة الإسلامية السمحة.
إنه جذور دولة ورؤية أمة.. فعندما تحتفل المملكة العربية السعودية حكومة وشعبا ومقيمين في الثاني والعشرين من فبراير من كل عام بذكرى يوم التأسيس، فهو احتفال نصر ونجاح وتميز وسيادة وريادة وتقدم على كل الأصعدة، وهي مناسبة وطنية تجسد العمق التاريخي للدولة السعودية الممتدة لأكثر من ثلاثة قرون، منذ أن أسس الإمام محمد بن سعود الدولة السعودية الأولى عام 1727، واتخذ من الدرعية عاصمةً لها، لتكون نقطة انطلاق لمشروع الدولة والاستقرار في شبه الجزيرة العربية.
يمثل يوم التأسيس محطة تاريخية مفصلية أعادت تشكيل الواقع السياسي والاجتماعي، حيث أرست الدولة السعودية الأولى دعائم الأمن والوحدة بعد حقبة من التشتت والنزاعات، وأسست نموذجًا للحكم يقوم على تحكيم الشريعة الإسلامية وإرساء قواعد العدل والمساواة والعمران والاستقرار وخدمة الدين والمواطن والمجتمع.
وقد جاء اعتماد هذا اليوم مناسبة وطنية بأمرٍ ملكي من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود عام 2022، تأكيدًا على الاعتزاز بالجذور الراسخة للدولة السعودية وارتباط المواطنين بتاريخهم وهويتهم الوطنية.
إن يوم التأسيس ليس مجرد ذكرى تاريخية، بل هو تجسيد لقيم متوارثة عبر الأجيال، تتمثل في الوحدة الوطنية، والولاء للقيادة، والاعتزاز بالهوية الثقافية، والتمسك بالإرث الحضاري. وفي هذه المناسبة يستحضر المواطن السعودي مسيرة البناء التي امتدت من الدولة السعودية الأولى، مرورًا بالدولة السعودية الثانية،
وصولًا إلى المملكة العربية السعودية في عهدها الزاهر،
وما تشهده من نهضة تنموية شاملة في ظل رؤية السعودية 2030، وما تقدمه من خدمة الحرمين الشريفين وقاصديهما من الحجاج والمعتمرين والزائرين وطباعتها للمصحف والقيام على نشره وتوزيعه ودفاعها عن ثالث الحرمين المسجد الأقصى ورعايتها للأقليات المسلمة في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها، ودعمها السخي لكل دول العالم في مواجهة الكوارث والمتغيرات المناخية والحروب.
كما يعكس الاحتفاء بيوم التأسيس التلاحم بين القيادة والشعب،
ويعزز روح الانتماء والمسؤولية الوطنية، ويؤكد أن ما تحقق من أمن واستقرار وتنمية هو امتداد لأسس راسخة وضعها الأجداد، وسار على نهجها الأبناء، لتبقى المملكة العربية السعودية قبلة العالم الإسلامي، وتعد نموذجًا للدولة الراسخة التي تحكم شرع الله، وهي قبلة المسلمين ومهبط الرسالة ومنبع التوحيد والتسامح وتجمع بين الأصالة والمعاصرة، والسياسة والقيادة للعالم أجمع وفق متغيرات العصر وتطورات الزمن.
وتعد المملكة مركزا للتوازن والاستقرار العالمي في السياسة والاقتصاد، ورعاية مصالح الشعوب والدول، ولها حضور في المحافل الدولية يثبت قوتها ومركزها وقيادتها، وفي ظل ما تشهده المملكة من تقدم في مختلف المجالات.
ويبقى يوم التأسيس مناسبة لاستلهام الدروس من التاريخ،
وتعزيز القيم الوطنية، وترسيخ الهوية السعودية في نفوس الأجيال، بما يسهم في مواصلة مسيرة البناء والتنمية، وتحقيق مستقبل مزدهر يليق بمكانة المملكة العربية السعودية
بين دول العالم.

It is the great Saudi Foundation Day.. under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his trustworthy Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
It is a national occasion.. celebrated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both government and people.. This day embodies the historical and civilizational depth of the Kingdom and affirms the roots of the Saudi state that extend for more than three centuries.
During this time, the Arabian Peninsula experienced unity and stability, as well as the spread of monotheism and the tolerant Islamic creed.
It is the roots of a state and the vision of a nation.. When the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, government, people, and residents celebrate on February 22 of each year the anniversary of Foundation Day, it is a celebration of victory, success, excellence, sovereignty, leadership, and progress on all fronts. It is a national occasion that embodies the historical depth of the Saudi state that has lasted for more than three centuries, since Imam Muhammad bin Saud established the first Saudi state in 1727 and made Diriyah its capital, serving as a starting point for the project of statehood and stability in the Arabian Peninsula.
Foundation Day represents a pivotal historical milestone that reshaped the political and social reality, as the first Saudi state laid the foundations of security and unity after a period of fragmentation and conflicts, establishing a model of governance based on the application of Islamic law and the establishment of the principles of justice, equality, development, stability, and service to religion, citizens, and society.
This day was officially adopted as a national occasion by royal decree from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in 2022, affirming pride in the deep-rooted foundations of the Saudi state and the connection of citizens to their history and national identity.
Foundation Day is not just a historical memory; it embodies values passed down through generations, represented in national unity, loyalty to leadership, pride in cultural identity, and adherence to the civilizational legacy. On this occasion, the Saudi citizen recalls the journey of construction that extended from the first Saudi state, through the second Saudi state,
to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its flourishing era,
and what it is witnessing of comprehensive developmental renaissance under the Saudi Vision 2030, and what it provides in service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors from pilgrims, Umrah performers, and tourists, as well as its printing and distribution of the Quran and its defense of the third holiest site, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its care for Muslim minorities in the East and West, along with its generous support to all countries in facing disasters, climate changes, and wars.
The celebration of Foundation Day also reflects the cohesion between leadership and the people,
enhancing the spirit of belonging and national responsibility, and affirming that what has been achieved in terms of security, stability, and development is an extension of the solid foundations laid by the ancestors, followed by their descendants, to keep the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the focal point of the Islamic world, a model of a steadfast state that governs by the law of God, and a direction for Muslims, the cradle of the message, the source of monotheism and tolerance, and a blend of authenticity and modernity, politics and leadership for the entire world in accordance with the changes of the era and the developments of time.
The Kingdom is considered a center for global balance and stability in politics and economics, and for safeguarding the interests of peoples and nations, with a presence in international forums that proves its strength, position, and leadership, amidst the progress the Kingdom is witnessing in various fields.
Foundation Day remains an occasion to draw lessons from history,
to enhance national values, and to instill the Saudi identity in the hearts of generations, contributing to the continuation of the journey of construction and development, and achieving a prosperous future that befits the status of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
among the nations of the world.
