أثارت الفنانة المصرية إلهام شاهين موجة جدل واسعة بعد تصريحات جريئة كشفت فيها تفاصيل زواجها الثاني، مؤكدة أنها قبلت أن تكون زوجة ثانية بشرط غير تقليدي، وهو: أن تكون العصمة بيدها، بما يمنحها حق الانفصال متى أرادت.
وجاءت التصريحات خلال ظهورها في برنامج بين السطور مع الإعلامية يمنى بدراوي، حيث تحدثت بصراحة عن كواليس تلك التجربة التي وصفتها بأنها كانت مليئة بالتوتر والصراع النفسي.
أوضحت الفنانة المصرية أنها أقدمت على الزواج بناءً على نصيحة أصدقاء مقربين، مشيرة إلى أن زوجها آنذاك وافق على شرطها بسبب تعلقه الشديد بها.
