على الجانب الآخر، يدخل فياريال لقاء اليوم منتشياً بفوزه في آخر مباراتين، وفي حال تفوقه على برشلونة سيعزز حظوظه في المشاركة بدوري أبطال أوروبا الموسم القادم، إضافة إلى دخول صراع المنافسة على لقب الليغا.
ويحتل فياريال المركز الثالث في جدول ترتيب الدوري برصيد 51 نقطة من 16 انتصاراً وثلاثة تعادلات مقابل ست هزائم.
