كشفت تقارير محلية في مصر عن حالة من التململ داخل صفوف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي المصري، على خلفية تحفظات عدد من اللاعبين الأساسيين تجاه الأسلوب الفني الذي ينتهجه المدير الفني الدنماركي ييس توروب، وذلك في ظل تراجع النتائج والمستوى خلال المرحلة الأخيرة من الموسم.
وجاءت هذه الأنباء عقب تعادل الأهلي مع فريق زد بنتيجة 1-1، في اللقاء الذي أقيم على ملعب ستاد القاهرة الدولي ضمن منافسات الجولة العشرين من مسابقة الدوري المصري الممتاز، وهي نتيجة اعتُبرت بمثابة إهدار نقطتين في سباق المنافسة على اللقب.
