أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، اغتيال رضا خزاعي، الذي وصفه بأنه مسؤول ملف التعاظم العسكري في حزب الله، نيابة عن فيلق القدس التابع للحرس الثوري الإيراني.
وقال الجيش في بيان إن سلاح البحرية نفّذ، أمس (الإثنين)، غارة على منطقة بيروت بتوجيه من هيئة الاستخبارات العسكرية، أسفرت عن مقتل خزاعي، الذي لفت إلى أنه كان يشغل أيضا منصب رئيس أركان «فيلق لبنان» التابع للقوة.
ووفق البيان، يعتبر خزاعي «اليد اليمنى» لقائد فيلق لبنان، وعنصرا مركزيا في عملية بناء قوة حزب الله، وكان مسؤولا عن التنسيق بين الحزب وإيران، خصوصا في ما يتعلق بمواءمة احتياجاته العسكرية مع الموارد التي توفرها طهران.
وأضاف الجيش الإسرائيلي أن خزاعي أشرف في إطار مهماته على عمليات تسليح واسعة شملت تزويد الحزب بأسلحة ومعدات إيرانية، وتنفيذ خطة التعاظم العسكري، إضافة إلى إعادة بناء القدرات بعد عملية «سهام الشمال».
واتهم بيان الجيش الإسرائيلي خزاعي بالمساهمة في ترسيخ مسارات نقل الأسلحة من إيران إلى لبنان، ومواكبة خطط إنتاج الأسلحة داخل الأراضي اللبنانية. وأكد أنه يواصل عملياته ضد حزب الله، متهما إياه بالانخراط في المواجهة «برعاية النظام الإيراني»، حسب قوله.
ورغم حظر الحكومة اللبنانية أمس (الإثنين) أنشطة حزب الله العسكرية، أعلن الحزب اليوم، إطلاق مسيرات وصواريخ تجاه شمال إسرائيل.
وقاله في بيان إنه أطلق «سرباً من المُسيّرات الانقضاضية نحو مواقع الرادارات وغرف التحكم في قاعدة رامات دافيد الجوية شمال فلسطين المحتلة». ولفت إلى استهداف قاعدة ميرون للمراقبة وإدارة العمليات الجوية في شمال إسرائيل.
وأنذرت إسرائيل عشرات البلدات في الجنوب اللبناني، مطالبة السكان بإخلائها. وقصفت العشرات من القرى بينها يارون وعيتا الشعب، فضلا عن برغز وغيرها.
وشنت عشرات الغارات على الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت بينها منطقة حارة حريك والحدث، حيث تصاعدت سحب الدخان الأسود من المكان.
وتعرضت قناة المنار التابعة لحزب الله في الضاحية الجنوبية فجراً لقصف إسرائيلي. وأكدت مصادر عسكرية وشهود عيان، أن فرقاً عسكرية إسرائيلية أجرت مناورات تحسبا لتوغل بري في لبنان.
The Israeli army announced today (Tuesday) the assassination of Reza Khazaei, whom it described as the person responsible for the military enhancement file in Hezbollah, on behalf of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The army stated in a statement that the navy carried out an airstrike yesterday (Monday) on the Beirut area, directed by the military intelligence agency, resulting in the death of Khazaei, who also held the position of Chief of Staff of the “Lebanon Corps” affiliated with the force.
According to the statement, Khazaei is considered the “right hand” of the commander of the Lebanon Corps and a central figure in the process of building Hezbollah’s strength. He was responsible for coordinating between the party and Iran, particularly regarding aligning its military needs with the resources provided by Tehran.
The Israeli army added that Khazaei oversaw extensive arming operations as part of his duties, which included supplying the party with Iranian weapons and equipment, implementing the military enhancement plan, in addition to rebuilding capabilities after the “Northern Arrows” operation.
The Israeli army’s statement accused Khazaei of contributing to the establishment of weapon transfer routes from Iran to Lebanon and overseeing weapon production plans within Lebanese territory. It confirmed that it continues its operations against Hezbollah, accusing it of engaging in confrontation “under the auspices of the Iranian regime,” as stated.
Despite the Lebanese government’s ban yesterday (Monday) on Hezbollah’s military activities, the party announced today the launch of drones and missiles towards northern Israel.
It stated in a statement that it launched “a swarm of attack drones towards radar sites and control rooms at the Ramat David airbase in northern occupied Palestine.” It noted targeting the Miron base for monitoring and managing aerial operations in northern Israel.
Israel warned dozens of towns in southern Lebanon, demanding that residents evacuate. It bombed dozens of villages, including Yaron and Aita al-Shaab, as well as Barghoz and others.
Dozens of airstrikes were launched on the southern suburbs of Beirut, including the Haret Hreik and Hadath areas, where black smoke billowed from the location.
The Al-Manar channel affiliated with Hezbollah in the southern suburbs was subjected to Israeli shelling at dawn. Military sources and eyewitnesses confirmed that Israeli military units conducted maneuvers in anticipation of a ground incursion into Lebanon.
