وكان المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الدفاع، أعلن في وقت سابق اعتراض وتدمير 8 مسيّرات معادية في محيط مدينتَي الرياض والخرج، ضمن محاولات استهداف متفرقة جرى التعامل معها بكفاءة وجاهزية عالية.
