توقع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، انخفاض أسعار النفط فور انتهاء العمليات العسكرية التي تقودها إدارته في إيران.
وأدلى ترمب بتصريحاته في المكتب البيضاوي قبيل اجتماعه مع المستشار الألماني فريدريش ميرتس، قائلا: «قد ترتفع أسعار النفط لفترة قصيرة لكنها ستنخفض لاحقا».
8 % ارتفاع
ارتفعت أسعار النفط بنحو 8%، أمس، مسجلة أعلى مستوى لها منذ يوليو 2024، وذلك للجلسة الثالثة على التوالي، مع اتساع رقعة الحرب الأمريكية الإسرائيلية ضد إيران، مما أدى إلى تعطيل شحنات النفط والغاز في الشرق الأوسط وتفاقم المخاوف من صراع طويل الأمد.
U.S. President Donald Trump predicted that oil prices would drop immediately after the military operations led by his administration in Iran come to an end.
Trump made his remarks in the Oval Office before meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, stating: “Oil prices may rise for a short period, but they will drop later.”
8% Increase
Oil prices rose by about 8% yesterday, reaching their highest level since July 2024, marking the third consecutive session of increases, as the scope of the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran widened, leading to disruptions in oil and gas shipments in the Middle East and escalating fears of a prolonged conflict.
