وفي إطار اهتمامه بتوسيع قاعدة المشاركة الثقافية، دعم آل صبيح حضور المرأة في المشهد الثقافي عبر إطلاق مبادرات مثل «ملتقى المبدعات»، التي تسهم في إبراز دور المرأة في الفنون والآداب وتعزيز مشاركتها في الفعاليات الثقافية. كما أولى اهتماماً خاصاً بثقافة الطفل وتنمية مواهبه من خلال تنظيم ورش عمل وبرامج تدريبية تسعى إلى ترسيخ الحس الإبداعي لدى الأجيال الجديدة.
وخلال فترة إدارته للجمعية، شهدت جدة حراكاً ثقافياً وفنياً لافتاً تمثل في تنفيذ أوبريتات وأعمال فنية كبرى، إلى جانب تطوير شراكات مع جهات حكومية وجامعات ومدارس والقطاع الخاص، ما أسهم في توسيع نطاق العمل الثقافي وتعزيز حضوره المجتمعي. وبهذه المسيرة المتنوعة، يقدم محمد آل صبيح نموذجاً للمثقف الإداري الذي يجمع بين الخبرة الصحفية والرؤية الثقافية والعمل الميداني، مؤمناً بأن الفن والأدب يمثلان قوة ناعمة قادرة على الإسهام في بناء الوعي وتطوير الذائقة الثقافية للمجتمع.
Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sabih represents one of the prominent names in the cultural and artistic movement in the western region and the Kingdom, as he combines journalistic experience with cultural leadership. Throughout his career, he has contributed to shaping a renewed creative presence in his role as the director of the Culture and Arts Association in Jeddah, relying on a long experience in cultural and journalistic work that began in the mid-1990s, when he emerged as a poet with the tools of poetry and a journalist who provided critical insights addressing the details of literature and the arts. Through his articles and cultural columns, he contributed to reading creative transformations and following the movement of literature and art in the Kingdom with an analytical awareness that reflects the depth of his experience and knowledge of the cultural scene.
During that early professional phase, Al-Sabih worked in cultural journalism as an editor and supervisor of literary and cultural pages in several Saudi newspapers and magazines, most notably the “Al-Bilad” and “Al-Madina” newspapers. He contributed to providing quality cultural coverage and critical follow-ups that documented the experiences of creators and kept pace with the development of the artistic and literary movement. He also launched quality programs such as “Cultural Mornings” and initiatives to discover young talents, aimed at supporting the new generation of creators and providing them with opportunities to express their artistic and literary experiences.
