تواصل الدبلوماسية السعودية تكثيف وتيرة التنسيق السياسي الخليجي المشترك بشأن هجمات إيران، مع التزم دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي بضبط النفس، وتفضيل الاستقرار رغم كثافة التصعيد الإيراني.
إن المبدأ الخليجي في السياسة الخارجية في التعامل مع الأحداث ثابت وراسخ، مع أن الهجمات الإيرانية تبيّن نوايا قادة طهران في استهداف مواقع مدنية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والأردن، وتبرير ذلك بتصريحات مثيرة للسخرية.
لم يستوعب المجتمع الخليجي والعربي التناقض الإيراني حيال تنصلهم من الهجمات التي يشنونها وتصريحات قادتهم التي تنفي عن إيران دورها في هذه الهجمات، وتُظهرهم على أنهم فاقدون للوعي حين يرددون أقاويل وشعارات لا تختلف عن تلك التي كان يرددها أتباعهم في السنوات الماضية، وهي تقتل المدنيين في اليمن وسورية، لتمارس نفس النهج والأسلوب اليوم بحق المدنيين في السعودية وقطر والإمارات والبحرين والكويت وعمان.
إن وقف الهجمات الإيرانية على دول المنطقة لا يحتاج إلى لجان تحقيق أو تشكيل فرق مشتركة، وإنما يتطلب قراراً واضحاً من من قادة طهران بوقف اعتداءاتها على الدول التي لم تستهدفها، والعمل على وقف المساعي الخبيثة لإثارة الفوضى والحروب في المنطقة.
إن العمل الدؤوب الذي تقوم به الدبلوماسية السعودية وفق مبدأ «أمن الخليج جزء لا يتجزأ» يعكس رغبة مشتركة لإنتاج الاستقرار، مع الحفاظ على حق الدول التي تتعرض للعدوان الإيراني السافر في الدفاع عن نفسها.
The Saudi diplomacy continues to intensify the pace of joint Gulf political coordination regarding Iran’s attacks, with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries committed to exercising restraint and preferring stability despite the intensity of Iranian escalation.
The Gulf principle in foreign policy regarding events is steadfast and established, even though the Iranian attacks reveal the intentions of Tehran’s leaders to target civilian sites in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan, justifying this with statements that are laughable.
The Gulf and Arab community has not absorbed the Iranian contradiction regarding their denial of the attacks they carry out and the statements of their leaders that deny Iran’s role in these attacks, showing them to be out of touch as they repeat slogans and claims that are no different from those chanted by their followers in past years, while killing civilians in Yemen and Syria, only to practice the same approach and method today against civilians in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.
Stopping the Iranian attacks on the countries of the region does not require investigation committees or the formation of joint teams, but rather a clear decision from Tehran’s leaders to cease their aggressions against countries that have not targeted them, and to work on halting the malicious efforts to incite chaos and wars in the region.
The diligent work carried out by Saudi diplomacy according to the principle of “Gulf security is indivisible” reflects a shared desire to produce stability while maintaining the right of countries subjected to blatant Iranian aggression to defend themselves.
