أوضح مدرب منتخب مصر حسام حسن، أن التوازن بين الاستفادة من اللاعبين الأجانب وتطوير المواهب المحلية يمثل عنصرًا مهمًا في بناء منظومة كروية متكاملة، تسهم في تحقيق نتائج إيجابية على المستوى الدولي، جاء ذلك عقب فوز منتخب بلاده على شقيقه السعودي بنتيجة (4-0)، في المباراة الودية التي جمعتهما على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن معسكر الأخضر الإعدادي خلال فترة أيام “FIFA” الدولية لشهر مارس، والمقام في إطار المرحلة الثالثة من برنامج الإعداد لكأس العالم 2026، مؤكداً على أهمية منح اللاعبين المحليين فرصًا أكبر للمشاركة في المنافسات المحلية، مشيرًا إلى أن ذلك ينعكس بشكل مباشر على قوة المنتخبات الوطنية، وأوضح «حسام حسن»، أنه لاحظ خلال متابعته للدوري السعودي للمحترفين ارتفاع عدد اللاعبين الأجانب في الأندية، الأمر الذي قد يسهم في تقليص دقائق مشاركة اللاعب السعودي داخل الملعب، وأضاف: «هذا الأمر قد ينعكس على جاهزية اللاعبين الدوليين، خاصة فيما يتعلق بخوض المنافسات القارية والتصفيات المؤهلة»، مؤكدًا أن منح اللاعبين السعوديين مساحة أكبر للمشاركة يسهم في تطوير مستوياتهم الفنية ويعزز من قوة المنتخبات.

This came after his team’s victory over their Saudi counterparts with a score of (4-0) in a friendly match held at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the Green’s training camp during the international “FIFA” days in March, which is part of the third phase of the preparation program for the 2026 World Cup. He emphasized the importance of giving local players greater opportunities to participate in local competitions, noting that this directly reflects on the strength of national teams. Hossam Hassan pointed out that he has noticed an increase in the number of foreign players in clubs while following the Saudi Professional League, which may contribute to reducing the minutes that Saudi players spend on the field. He added, “This matter may affect the readiness of international players, especially regarding participation in continental competitions and qualifying matches,” affirming that providing Saudi players with more space to participate contributes to developing their technical levels and enhances the strength of the national teams.
