أكد رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الشعر والشعراء الشاعر عبدالله حمير القحطاني، في تصريح لـ«عكاظ»، أن مهرجان الفنون التقليدية الذي تنظمه وزارة الثقافة يشكل منصة مهمة لدعم المشهد الشعري وتعزيز حضوره في الفعاليات الثقافية، مشيراً إلى أن الأمسيات الشعرية المصاحبة للمهرجان تشهد تفاعلاً لافتاً من الجمهور رغم التحديات.
وأوضح أن مشاركة نخبة من شعراء المحاورة والنظم إلى جانب الأسماء الشابة تسهم في إثراء الساحة الشعرية، وتمنح المواهب الجديدة فرصة الظهور والتفاعل المباشر مع الجمهور، مبيناً أن اختيار الشعراء يتم عبر لجان مختصة لضمان جودة المحتوى وتنوعه.
وأشار القحطاني إلى أن الجمعية أسهمت في دعم تنظيم هذه الأمسيات من خلال توفير قاعدة بيانات للشعراء والمشاركة في ترشيح عدد من الأسماء، مؤكداً أن هذا التعاون يعكس تكامل الجهود بين الجهات الثقافية لإنجاح مثل هذه الفعاليات.
وأضاف أن المهرجان يمثل خطوة نوعية في الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي، لا سيما فنون المحاورة والشعر النبطي، ويعزز من استمراريتها لدى الأجيال القادمة، في ظل الدعم الكبير الذي توليه وزارة الثقافة لمختلف ألوان الفنون التقليدية في المملكة.
The Chairman of the Board of the Poetry and Poets Association, poet Abdullah Hamir Al-Qahtani, stated in a statement to “Okaz” that the Traditional Arts Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture serves as an important platform to support the poetic scene and enhance its presence in cultural events, noting that the poetry evenings accompanying the festival witness remarkable interaction from the audience despite the challenges.
He explained that the participation of a select group of poets in both dialogue and structured poetry, alongside young names, contributes to enriching the poetic arena and provides new talents with the opportunity to appear and interact directly with the audience, indicating that the selection of poets is done through specialized committees to ensure the quality and diversity of the content.
Al-Qahtani pointed out that the association has contributed to supporting the organization of these evenings by providing a database of poets and participating in nominating several names, emphasizing that this collaboration reflects the integration of efforts among cultural entities to ensure the success of such events.
He added that the festival represents a qualitative step in preserving cultural heritage, especially the arts of dialogue and Nabati poetry, and enhances their continuity among future generations, in light of the significant support provided by the Ministry of Culture to various forms of traditional arts in the Kingdom.
