عقد وزراء الداخلية العرب، أمس (الأربعاء)، اجتماعات الدورة الـ43 لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب، عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
ورأس وفد المملكة وزير الداخلية الرئيس الفخري لمجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف، وألقى كلمة خلال الاجتماع، نقل فيها تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وولي العهد، معرباً عن تطلعهما إلى أن يسهم الاجتماع في تعزيز جهود التعاون العربي المشترك، كما رحّب وزير الداخلية، بالوزراء المنضمين حديثاً إلى مجلس وزراء الداخلية العرب.
وأشار إلى أن الاجتماع ينعقد في ظل الظروف الراهنة التي تشهدها المنطقة، من اعتداءات إيرانية على عدد من الدول العربية ودول المنطقة، مؤكداً أن المملكة العربية السعودية تعرب عن رفضها وإدانتها الشديدة لهذه الهجمات، التي عرّضت المدنيين والبنية التحتية الحيوية لمخاطر متزايدة. مبيّناً أن هذا العدوان يمثّل تهديداً خطيراً لأمن واستقرار المنطقة، ولا يمكن تبريره بأي ذريعة أو شكل من الأشكال، وأن إصرار إيران على زعزعة أمن واستقرار المنطقة يعدّ انتهاكاً للمواثيق الدولية وتهديداً للسلم والأمن الدوليين.
وأوضح وزير الداخلية، أن العالم يشهد اليوم تصاعداً في أنماط الجريمة المنظمة، والاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات، والتطرف والإرهاب، والجرائم السيبرانية، في ظل سياق عالمي يتّسم بتحوّلات جيوسياسية وتقنية متسارعة، إذ تتطور شبكات الجريمة المنظمة العابرة للحدود، ويتنامى اقتصاد المخدرات الاصطناعية، مع استغلال التقنيات الرقمية في نشر التطرّف وغسل الأموال والاتجار بالبشر، لا سيما في البيئات الهشة أو المتأثرة بالنزاعات، كما أصبحت الجرائم السيبرانية والاحتيال الرقمي وهجمات الفدية من أكثر التهديدات انتشاراً وتأثيراً، مع التوسع في استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي.
وأكد وزير الداخلية، أن مواجهة التحديات الأمنية المستجدة تتطلب تطوير منظومة عمل متعددة الأبعاد تشمل القدرات البشرية والتقنية والمعرفية والمجتمعية، مشيراً إلى أن الأمن لم يعد منفصلاً عن الاقتصاد المعرفي، وأن المجتمعات التي تستثمر في المعرفة والبحث والابتكار هي الأقدر على بناء سياسات أمنية استشرافية واستباقية، باعتبار ذلك الركيزة الأساسية لازدهار الشعوب واستقرار الدول، موضحاً أنه كلما تعززت المناعة المجتمعية، وتعمّقت الشراكات العربية، وتطورت القدرات المعرفية، اقترب تحقيق أمن مستدام يواكب طموحات المنطقة العربية في الحاضر والمستقبل.
وفي ختام كلمته، أعرب وزير الداخلية، عن شكره للأجهزة الأمنية بالدول العربية على مواصلة جهودها في أداء أدوارها وتحمّل مسؤولياتها في الحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار، كما قدّم شكره للأمين العام ومنسوبي الأمانة العامة للمجلس على جهودهم في الإعداد والتحضير لهذا الاجتماع، سائلاً الله عز وجل التوفيق، وأن يكلل الاجتماع بالنجاح بما يعزز مسيرة التعاون الأمني العربي المشترك.
وقد ألقى الوزراء كلماتهم خلال الاجتماع، وناقشوا عدداً من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول أعماله.
The Arab Interior Ministers held their 43rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers yesterday (Wednesday) via video conferencing.
The delegation from the Kingdom was headed by the Minister of Interior, the honorary president of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, who delivered a speech during the meeting, conveying the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, expressing their hope that the meeting would contribute to enhancing efforts for joint Arab cooperation. The Minister of Interior also welcomed the ministers who have recently joined the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
He pointed out that the meeting is taking place amid the current circumstances in the region, which include Iranian attacks on several Arab countries and countries in the region, affirming that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its strong rejection and condemnation of these attacks, which have exposed civilians and vital infrastructure to increasing risks. He indicated that this aggression represents a serious threat to the security and stability of the region and cannot be justified under any pretext or in any form, and that Iran’s insistence on destabilizing the security and stability of the region constitutes a violation of international charters and a threat to international peace and security.
The Minister of Interior explained that the world is currently witnessing a rise in patterns of organized crime, illicit drug trafficking, extremism and terrorism, and cybercrime, in a global context characterized by rapid geopolitical and technological transformations, as transnational organized crime networks evolve, and the synthetic drug economy grows, with the exploitation of digital technologies in spreading extremism, money laundering, and human trafficking, especially in fragile environments or those affected by conflicts. Cybercrime, digital fraud, and ransomware attacks have become some of the most widespread and impactful threats, alongside the expansion of artificial intelligence tools.
The Minister of Interior emphasized that addressing emerging security challenges requires the development of a multidimensional work system that includes human, technical, cognitive, and community capabilities, pointing out that security is no longer separate from the knowledge economy, and that societies investing in knowledge, research, and innovation are better equipped to build proactive and forward-looking security policies, as this is the fundamental pillar for the prosperity of peoples and the stability of nations. He clarified that the stronger the community immunity, the deeper the Arab partnerships, and the more developed the cognitive capabilities, the closer we get to achieving sustainable security that meets the aspirations of the Arab region in the present and future.
In conclusion, the Minister of Interior expressed his gratitude to the security agencies in the Arab countries for their continued efforts in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities in maintaining security and stability. He also thanked the Secretary-General and the staff of the General Secretariat of the Council for their efforts in preparing for this meeting, asking Allah Almighty for success and that the meeting be crowned with success in enhancing the path of joint Arab security cooperation.
The ministers delivered their speeches during the meeting and discussed several topics on its agenda.
