لقى 8 أشخاص مصرعهم، وأُصيب 4 آخرين بجروح متفاوتة الخطورة في حادثة مأساوية، صباح اليوم الخميس، في محافظة المنوفية شمال العاصمة المصرية القاهرة.
وشهد طريق كفر داود – السادات بمحافظة المنوفية، حادثة مروعة أمام مفارق التحرير بدائرة مركز السادات نتيجة تصادم كبير بين سيارة ميكروباص وسيارة نقل ثقيل.
تعود الواقعة إلى تلقي الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن المنوفية إخطارًا بوقوع تصادم عنيف بين سيارتين، إحداهما «ربع نقل» تقل عمالة، والأخرى سيارة نقل ثقيل (جامبو)، وذلك أمام مفارق التحرير على الطريق الرابط بين كفر داود ومدينة السادات.
وانتقلت قوات الأمن والإسعاف على الفور إلى موقع الحادثة، حيث تبين اصطدام سيارة ميكروباص بسيارة نقل، مما أدى إلى تهشم السيارتين وخروجهما عن الطريق.
وأسفر التصادم عن تهشم السيارتين بشكل كامل، ما أدى إلى وفاة 8 أشخاص في الحال، بينما أصيب آخرون بإصابات متفاوتة الخطورة، وتم نقلهم إلى المستشفيات لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
وأدت الحادثة إلى إغلاق جزئي للطريق لساعات، مع رفع آثار التصادم بواسطة الأوناش والمعدات الثقيلة، وتم تحرير محضر بالواقعة وإخطار النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيقات وتحديد المسؤوليات.
وكشفت مصادر طبية أن غالبية الضحايا من قرية طنوب التابعة لمركز تلا، وكانوا في طريقهم للعمل وقت وقوع الحادثة، فيما أفادت تقارير بأن من بين الضحايا أبًا وابنه، ما ضاعف من مأساوية الحادثة داخل القرية التي خيم عليها الحزن.
وأشارت التحريات الأولية إلى أن الحادثة وقعت نتيجة سير إحدى السيارات عكس الاتجاه، ما تسبب في وقوع التصادم بشكل مباشر وقوي.
وتمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية من ضبط قائد السيارة المتسبب في الحادثة، بينما جرى تحرير محضر بالواقعة، وأُخطرت النيابة العامة التي باشرت التحقيقات لكشف ملابسات الحادثة واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
وانتقل محافظ المنوفية إلى موقع الحادثة، لمتابعة تداعيات الواقعة، كما تفقد المصابين داخل المستشفيات، ووجه برفع درجة الاستعداد القصوى بالمستشفيات وتقديم الدعم الكامل للمصابين.
Eight people were killed, and four others were injured with varying degrees of severity in a tragic incident this morning, Thursday, in the Monufia Governorate, north of the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The Kafr Dawood – Sadat road in Monufia Governorate witnessed a horrific accident in front of the Liberation intersection in the Sadat Center district due to a major collision between a microbus and a heavy truck.
The incident occurred after the security authorities in the Monufia Security Directorate received a notification of a violent collision between two vehicles, one of which was a “quarter-ton” truck carrying workers, and the other was a heavy transport vehicle (jumbo), in front of the Liberation intersection on the road linking Kafr Dawood and the city of Sadat.
Security and ambulance forces immediately moved to the scene of the accident, where it was found that a microbus had collided with a transport truck, resulting in both vehicles being severely damaged and leaving the road.
The collision resulted in the complete wreckage of both vehicles, leading to the immediate death of eight people, while others sustained injuries of varying severity and were transported to hospitals for necessary medical care.
The incident caused a partial closure of the road for hours, with the debris from the collision being cleared by cranes and heavy equipment. A report was filed regarding the incident, and the public prosecution was notified to initiate investigations and determine responsibilities.
Medical sources revealed that the majority of the victims were from the village of Tonob, which is part of the Tila Center, and they were on their way to work at the time of the accident. Reports indicated that among the victims were a father and his son, which intensified the tragedy of the incident in the village, which was shrouded in grief.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the accident occurred as one of the vehicles was driving against the direction of traffic, which directly and forcefully caused the collision.
The security authorities managed to apprehend the driver of the vehicle responsible for the accident, and a report was filed regarding the incident. The public prosecution was notified, which began investigations to uncover the circumstances of the incident and take the necessary legal actions.
The governor of Monufia visited the scene of the accident to follow up on the aftermath of the incident, and he also checked on the injured in the hospitals, directing that the highest state of readiness be raised in the hospitals and that full support be provided to the injured.
