أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أن مضيق هرمز أصبح مفتوحاً أمام حركة السفن، مشيداً بدور السعودية والإمارات وقطر والبحرين والكويت في هذا الإطار.
وأكد أن إيران لن تمتلك سلاحاً نووياً، موضحاً أن الولايات المتحدة ستتعامل مع المواد النووية الإيرانية، بما يشمل نقل اليورانيوم إلى أراضيها بالتعاون مع طهران، ومن دون أي تبادل مالي ضمن أي اتفاق محتمل. كما أشار إلى استمرار العمل على إزالة الألغام البحرية من المضيق لضمان أمن الملاحة.
وأضاف أن الجهود الرامية للتوصل إلى اتفاق مع إيران تسير بشكل إيجابي، مع استمرار المحادثات التي تشمل ملفات إقليمية مثل لبنان، لافتاً إلى أن رفع الحصار مرتبط بإتمام الاتفاق. وأكد أن المفاوضات ستتواصل خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع، مع تقارب ملحوظ وتراجع في حجم الخلافات بين الطرفين.

He emphasized that Iran will not possess nuclear weapons, clarifying that the United States will deal with Iranian nuclear materials, including the transfer of uranium to its territory in cooperation with Tehran, and without any financial exchange within any potential agreement. He also noted the ongoing efforts to clear naval mines from the strait to ensure the safety of navigation.
He added that efforts to reach an agreement with Iran are progressing positively, with ongoing talks that include regional issues such as Lebanon, pointing out that lifting the blockade is linked to finalizing the agreement. He confirmed that negotiations will continue over the weekend, with a noticeable rapprochement and a reduction in the size of disagreements between the two parties.
