في إطار حراك دبلوماسي متسارع تشهده المنطقة لاحتواء التوترات الإقليمية والحد من التصعيد، شارك وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، في الاجتماع الوزاري الرباعي الذي عقد في مدينة أنطاليا بالجمهورية التركية، بمشاركة عدد من وزراء الخارجية من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة.
وضم الاجتماع نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير خارجية جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية محمد إسحاق دار، ووزير الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج في جمهورية مصر العربية الدكتور بدر عبدالعاطي، ووزير خارجية جمهورية تركيا هاكان فيدان، إذ جرى خلال اللقاء بحث مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وتناول الاجتماع مناقشة الجهود الدبلوماسية المبذولة، بما في ذلك دعم الوساطة الباكستانية ومساعيها الرامية إلى التوصل إلى وقف دائم لإطلاق النار بين الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، في خطوة تهدف إلى تخفيف حدة التوتر وخفض منسوب التصعيد في المنطقة.
كما شدد المشاركون على أهمية استمرار التنسيق السياسي والدبلوماسي بين الأطراف المعنية، بما يسهم في تعزيز فرص السلام والاستقرار، وتجنب التداعيات الأمنية والاقتصادية الخطيرة التي قد تنعكس على المنطقة والعالم في حال استمرار التوترات.
In the context of a rapidly advancing diplomatic movement in the region to contain regional tensions and reduce escalation, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan participated in the quadripartite ministerial meeting held in Antalya, Turkey, with the participation of several foreign ministers from brotherly and friendly countries.
The meeting included the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptians Abroad of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, and the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan. During the meeting, developments in regional and international situations of mutual interest were discussed.
The meeting addressed the diplomatic efforts being made, including support for Pakistani mediation and its endeavors aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, in a step aimed at reducing tensions and lowering the level of escalation in the region.
Participants also emphasized the importance of continuing political and diplomatic coordination among the concerned parties, which contributes to enhancing opportunities for peace and stability, and avoiding serious security and economic repercussions that could affect the region and the world if tensions persist.
