أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الإثنين) أن الاتفاق الذي يعمل عليه حالياً مع إيران سيكون أفضل بكثير من الاتفاق النووي الذي وقع عليه الرئيس السابق باراك أوباما.
وكتب ترمب على منصته «تروث سوشال»: «الديمقراطيون يفعلون كل ما في وسعهم للإضرار بالموقف القوي للغاية الذي نحن فيه تجاه إيران».
وقال ترمب: على الرغم من أن الحرب العالمية الأولى استمرت 4 سنوات و3 أشهر و14 يوماً، والحرب العالمية الثانية استمرت 6 سنوات ويوم واحداً، والحرب الكورية استمرت 3 سنوات وشهراً واحداً ويومين، وحرب فيتنام استمرت 19 عاماً و5 أشهر و29 يوماً، وحرب العراق استمرت 8 سنوات و8 أشهر و28 يوماً، فإنهم يزعمون أنني وعدت بهزيمة إيران خلال 6 أسابيع، مضيفاً: الحقيقة أنه من الناحية العسكرية، كان الأمر أسرع بكثير من ذلك، لكنني لن أسمح لهم بدفع الولايات المتحدة إلى إبرام صفقة ليست بالجودة التي يمكن أن تكون عليها.
وأشار إلى أنه قرأ ما أطلق عليه «الأخبار الكاذبة» التي تقول إنه تحت «الضغط» لإبرام صفقة، مشدداً بالقول: «هذا غير صحيح! أنا لست تحت أي ضغط على الإطلاق، ومع ذلك، فإن كل شيء سيحدث بسرعة نسبية».
وأضاف ترمب: «الوقت ليس عدوي، والشيء الوحيد الذي يهم هو أن نقوم أخيراً بعد 47 عاماً بتصحيح الفوضى التي سمح بها رؤساء آخرون لأنهم لم يمتلكوا الشجاعة أو البصيرة للقيام بما كان يجب فعله تجاه إيران».
ووصف ترمب الديمقراطيين بـ«الضعفاء ومثيري الشفقة والخونة» قائلاً: «نحن منخرطون في هذا الأمر، وسيتم إنجازه بالشكل الصحيح، ولن نسمح للديمقراطيين الضعفاء والمثيرين للشفقة، الخونة جميعاً، الذين ظلوا لسنوات يتحدثون عن مخاطر إيران وضرورة اتخاذ إجراء، لكنهم الآن -لأنني أنا من يقوم بذلك- يقللون من إنجازات جيشنا وإدارة ترمب».
وأشار إلى أنه يتم تنفيذ العمليات ضد إيران بشكل مثالي، وعلى نطاق مشابه لما حدث في فنزويلا، لكنه أكبر وأكثر تعقيداً، وستكون النتيجة هي نفسها.
واختتم ترمب بالقول: «في ولايتي الأولى، قمت ببناء أعظم جيش شهدته بلادنا على الإطلاق، بما في ذلك إنشاء قوة الفضاء، وفي ولايتي الثانية، أستخدم جيشنا بشكل مناسب ومدروس لحل المشكلات التي تركها لنا آخرون أقل فهماً أو كفاءة، لنجعل أمريكا عظيمة مجدداً».
من جهة أخرى، نقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن مسؤول رفيع في إدارة ترمب قوله: لا نعرف من المسؤول في إيران، ولا هم يعرفون، وهذا الأمر يجب حسمه.
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed today (Monday) that the agreement he is currently working on with Iran will be much better than the nuclear deal signed by former President Barack Obama.
Trump wrote on his platform “Truth Social”: “The Democrats are doing everything they can to undermine the very strong position we are in regarding Iran.”
Trump stated: Although World War I lasted 4 years, 3 months, and 14 days, World War II lasted 6 years and 1 day, the Korean War lasted 3 years, 1 month, and 2 days, the Vietnam War lasted 19 years, 5 months, and 29 days, and the Iraq War lasted 8 years, 8 months, and 28 days, they claim that I promised to defeat Iran in 6 weeks, adding: The truth is that from a military standpoint, it was much faster than that, but I will not allow them to push the United States into making a deal that is not of the quality it could be.
He pointed out that he read what he called “fake news” stating that he is under “pressure” to make a deal, emphasizing: “That is not true! I am not under any pressure at all, however, everything will happen relatively quickly.”
Trump added: “Time is not my enemy, and the only thing that matters is that we finally correct the mess that has been allowed by other presidents for 47 years because they did not have the courage or vision to do what needed to be done regarding Iran.”
Trump described the Democrats as “weak, pathetic, and treasonous,” saying: “We are engaged in this matter, and it will be done the right way, and we will not allow the weak and pathetic Democrats, all of whom are traitors, who have been talking for years about the dangers of Iran and the need for action, but now – because I am the one doing it – are downplaying the achievements of our military and the Trump administration.”
He noted that operations against Iran are being carried out perfectly, on a scale similar to what happened in Venezuela, but larger and more complex, and the outcome will be the same.
Trump concluded by saying: “In my first term, I built the greatest military our country has ever seen, including the establishment of the Space Force, and in my second term, I am using our military appropriately and thoughtfully to solve the problems left to us by others who were less understanding or competent, to make America great again.”
On another note, Axios reported that a senior official in the Trump administration said: We do not know who is in charge in Iran, nor do they know, and this matter needs to be resolved.
