ما جعل المشهد يتجاوز كونه لحظة ترفيهية هو ذلك الرابط الذي التقطه الجمهور سريعًا بين الأغنية وبين مسلسل قصي خولي الأخير «بخمس أرواح». فتعبير «وجه القمر» لم يمر مرور الكرام، بل أعاد إلى الأذهان جملة شهيرة ارتبطت بشخصيته في العمل الدرامي، ما فتح بابًا واسعًا للتأويلات والتكهنات حول ما إذا كان المشهد يحمل إسقاطًا فنيًا مقصودًا.
