– عندما تكتب «عكاظ» وتفرد هذه المساحات لـ«الأهلي» لتحقيقه بطولة الأندية الآسيوية، فهي تكتب باسم «حب الوطن» لا بشعارات الأندية. فعندما تلعب أندية الوطن يصبح اللون الغالب هو (الأخضر)؛ شعار الوطن الذي يمثّل عمقاً كبيراً لكل السعوديين، وليس مجرد لون، بل هو «بهاءٌ يسرُّ الناظرين».
– «عكاظ» التاريخ والأصالة ليست مجرد صحيفة، بل هي مؤسسة متكاملة الأركان، ارتبط عشقها وتاريخها بحب الوطن، ومن الطبيعي جداً عند تحقيق ممثل الوطن لأي بطولة أن تتغنى وتفرح وتنشر كل جماليات ذلك التتويج والسرور.
– في «عكاظ» قصة جميلة يعرفها كل من عمل بها؛ قصة قوامها أعراف الصحافة المهنية المتزنة والمعتدلة في طرحها، ونثر كل ما يصب في مصلحة الوطن، لذا كان من الطبيعي أن تخصص «عكاظ» عبر منصاتها تلك المساحات لـ«الأهلي»، فهو يستحق بكل جدارة هذا الاحتفاء الذي تكنّه الصحيفة له ولجميع الأندية السعودية.
– سألني أحد الأصدقاء: هل «عكاظ» أهلاوية؟ قلت: نعم، هي «أهلاوية» عندما يفوز ممثل الوطن ببطولة قارية ويشرفنا محلياً، وهي تنظر لجميع أندية الوطن بذات العين. لا ينطلق العاملون في الصحيفة من ميولهم الشخصية، بل ميولهم أعمق من ذلك بكثير؛ هو «انتماء الوطن» الذي يمثل عنوانهم الدائم في صياغة أخبارهم وتقاريرهم.
– عاد وسألني: لكن «عكاظ» أفردت مساحات واسعة بمختلف الجوانب للأهلي! قلت: نعم، وهذا ديدن «عكاظ»؛ فعندما يُتوج ممثل الوطن تفرد المساحات وتتغنى بالمنجز، ولا علاقة لذلك بشعارات الأندية، فالجميع عندها سواسية. وبالعودة لأرشيف الصحيفة، ستجد أن كل من حقق بطولة قارية أو دولية نال من الثناء والاحتفاء ما ناله الأهلي.
– تعايشت مع «عكاظ» سنوات طويلة، ووجدت فريقاً واحداً متجانساً يعمل بصدق ومهنية واحترافية، لا يفرق بين ألوان الأندية. هدفه تقديم المعلومة الصحيحة، وإغلاق أبواب الشعارات والتعصب الرياضي، والنظر للجميع بنظرة واحدة يقودها عراب الصحافة (الجنرال) جميل الذيابي.
– «عكاظ» بتاريخها الناصع، دعمت كل الأندية السعودية، وقبل ذلك كانت الداعم الأول للمنتخبات، وهي تكتب دائماً برؤية وزاوية عميقة قوامها حب الوطن، وتواكب كل المنجزات في كل محفل ومناسبة بثوب وحلة جديدة.
– كل محايد ونزيه يدرك حجم وثقل هذه الصحيفة في دعمها لأندية الوطن. افرحوا وانثروا السعادة، ولا تزعجوا أنفسكم بميولٍ عفا عليها الزمن؛ فقد أصبحنا أكثر نضجاً، نشجع وندعم كل نادٍ يمثلنا خارجياً وننسى ميولنا، لأن كل إنجاز هو باسم «المملكة العربية السعودية».. الاسم الكبير الذي لا يعلو صوت فوق حبه وصوته.
– When “Okaz” writes and dedicates these spaces to “Al-Ahli” for winning the Asian club championship, it writes in the name of “love for the homeland,” not in the slogans of clubs. – “Okaz,” with its history and authenticity, is not just a newspaper, but a comprehensive institution whose love and history are intertwined with love for the homeland. It is very natural that when a representative of the homeland achieves any championship, it sings, rejoices, and publishes all the beauties of that crowning and joy.
– In “Okaz,” there is a beautiful story known by everyone who has worked there; a story based on the traditions of balanced and moderate professional journalism, spreading everything that serves the interest of the homeland. Therefore, it was natural for “Okaz” to dedicate those spaces on its platforms to “Al-Ahli,” as it truly deserves this celebration that the newspaper holds for it and for all Saudi clubs.
– One of my friends asked me: Is “Okaz” pro-Al-Ahli? I said: Yes, it is “pro-Al-Ahli” when a representative of the homeland wins a continental championship and honors us locally, and it looks at all the clubs of the homeland with the same eye. The workers at the newspaper do not act based on their personal inclinations, but their inclinations are much deeper than that; it is the “belonging to the homeland” that represents their constant title in shaping their news and reports.
– He asked again: But “Okaz” has dedicated wide spaces to various aspects of Al-Ahli! – I have lived with “Okaz” for many years, and I found a single cohesive team working with sincerity, professionalism, and integrity, not differentiating between the colors of clubs. Its goal is to provide accurate information, close the doors to slogans and sports fanaticism, and look at everyone with a unified perspective led by the patron of journalism (the general) Jamil Al-Dhiabi.
– “Okaz,” with its bright history, has supported all Saudi clubs, and before that, it was the primary supporter of the national teams. It always writes with a deep vision and perspective based on love for the homeland, keeping pace with all achievements in every event and occasion in a new attire.
– Every neutral and fair person recognizes the size and weight of this newspaper in supporting the clubs of the homeland. Rejoice and spread happiness, and do not bother yourselves with outdated inclinations; we have become more mature, supporting and encouraging every club that represents us abroad and forgetting our inclinations, because every achievement is in the name of “the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia”… the great name that no voice rises above its love and sound.
