أبدى مدرب نادي القادسية «برندان رودجرز» حماسه الكبير لمواجهة فريق النصر بعد غدٍ الأحد في الجولة الـ 31 من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، موضحاً خلال المؤتمر الصحفي أن النصر منافس كبير ويملك لاعبين أصحاب جودة عالية، وقال: «سوف نقدم مباراة كبيرة أمام متصدر الدوري برصيد 79 نقطة وسوف نصعبها عليهم وسوف نشكل خطورة على مرماهم»، وأضاف يقول: «النصر لا يعتمد على رونالدو فقط فهناك لاعبون مميزون ضمن صفوفه ولديهم خبرة في أرضية الملعب».
وتابع يقول: «مواجهتي الأولى أمام النصر لم يشارك مصعب فيها، لكن علي هزازي شارك وقدم مستوىً ممتازًا»، مشدداً على أن سلاح القادسية في مواجهة النصر، «روح الفريق الواحد».
