أطلقت شركة OpenAI ميزة جديدة، تحمل اسم «حماية الحساب المتقدمة Advanced Account Security» لرفع مستوى الحماية في حسابات نموذجها الشهير للذكاء الاصطناعي ChatGPT.
وتتيح الميزة الجديدة، التي يمكن تفعيلها اختيارياً لمستخدمي «تشات جي بي تي»، تأمين حساباتهم باستخدام مفاتيح أمان مادية، بدلاً من الاعتماد على كلمات المرور التقليدية.
وتؤكد الشركة، أن الميزة الجديدة توفر حزمة متكاملة من إجراءات الحماية دون الحاجة إلى التنقل بين إعدادات متعددة، وعند تفعيلها يُلغى تسجيل الدخول عبر كلمة المرور بالكامل، ليحل محله ما يُعرف بـ«مفاتيح المرور Passkeys» أو مفاتيح الأمان المادية.
إضافة إلى ذلك، تُقلّص المدة الزمنية للجلسات النشِطة، ما يحدّ من استغلال أي تسجيل دخول مريب، مع إرسال تنبيهات فورية عند محاولة تسجيل الدخول إلى الحساب.
ويهدف هذا التوجّه، وفق OpenAI، إلى تقليل أخطار الاختراق المرتبطة باختراق البريد الإلكتروني أو أرقام الهواتف، وهي من بين أكثر طرق الاستيلاء على الحسابات شيوعاً.
OpenAI has launched a new feature called “Advanced Account Security” to enhance the protection of accounts for its popular AI model, ChatGPT.
The new feature, which can be optionally activated by ChatGPT users, allows them to secure their accounts using physical security keys instead of relying on traditional passwords.
The company emphasizes that the new feature provides a comprehensive package of security measures without the need to navigate through multiple settings. When activated, password-based login is completely eliminated, replaced by what is known as “Passkeys” or physical security keys.
Additionally, it reduces the duration of active sessions, limiting the exploitation of any suspicious logins, while sending instant alerts when there is an attempt to log into the account.
This approach, according to OpenAI, aims to reduce the risks of breaches associated with compromised email accounts or phone numbers, which are among the most common methods of account takeover.
