أطلقت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة شراكة إستراتيجية مع إحدى المنصات التعليمية المتخصصة في التعليم الذكي؛ بهدف تعزيز دور التكنولوجيا التعليمية في نشر الوعي البيئي داخل المدارس، بما يدعم تبني السلوكيات والممارسات البيئية السليمة، ويرفع مستوى الوعي لدى الطلاب؛ انسجاماً مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وتسعى هذه الشراكة إلى تمكين المؤسسات التعليمية من تحويل مفاهيم الاستدامة إلى ممارسات يومية، وبناء جيل أكثر وعياً ومسؤولية تجاه البيئة وحماية الموارد الطبيعية، إضافة إلى دعم برنامج «المدارس الخضراء» التابع لمبادرة التوعية البيئية، من خلال ترسيخ ثقافة الحفاظ على البيئة لدى الطلاب والمعلمين، وتشجيعهم على تبني الممارسات البيئية الصحيحة.
كما تسهم المبادرة في تحفيز الطلاب على المشاركة في أنشطة التشجير داخل المدارس، بما يعزز بيئة تعليمية مستدامة ويُرسخ قيم المحافظة على الموارد الطبيعية.
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has launched a strategic partnership with an educational platform specialized in smart education, aimed at enhancing the role of educational technology in raising environmental awareness within schools. This supports the adoption of sound environmental behaviors and practices, and increases awareness among students, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
This partnership seeks to empower educational institutions to transform sustainability concepts into daily practices, and to build a generation that is more aware and responsible towards the environment and the protection of natural resources. Additionally, it supports the “Green Schools” program under the Environmental Awareness Initiative by instilling a culture of environmental conservation among students and teachers, and encouraging them to adopt correct environmental practices.
The initiative also contributes to motivating students to participate in tree-planting activities within schools, thereby enhancing a sustainable learning environment and reinforcing the values of conserving natural resources.
