أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية، اليوم(الأربعاء)، اتخاذ تدابير عملية لوضع التشكيلات والوحدات العسكرية لاستخدام الأسلحة النووية في حالة الجاهزية القتالية القصوى استعداداً لإطلاق أسلحة نووية.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان: «في إطار تدريبات القوات النووية تم التدرب على التدابير العملية لوضع التشكيلات والوحدات العسكرية لاستخدام الأسلحة النووية في أعلى مستويات الجاهزية القتالية»، مبينة أن تدريبات القوات النووية الروسية ستستمر من 19-21 مايو.
وأشارت إلى أن قواتها زودت أنظمة إطلاق إسكندر-إم المتنقلة برؤوس حربية نووية وقامت بتحميلها، موضحة أن هذه القوات تدربت على نقلها إلى مواقع الإطلاق دون أن يتم رصدها، وذلك في إطار مناورة الأسلحة النووية الكبيرة.
وذكرت الوزارة أن دفاعها الجوي اعترض ودمر 61 مسيرة أوكرانية فوق المناطق الروسية خلال ساعتين، كما جرى تدمير المسيرات الأوكرانية فوق أراضي مقاطعات بيلغورود، وبريانسك، ولينينغراد، وكالوغا، وكورسك، ونوفغورود، وسمولينسك، ومنطقة موسكو وضواحيها، وإقليم ستافروبول.
وقال حاكم منطقة ستافروبول بجنوب روسيا فلاديمير فلاديميروف، إن المناطق الصناعية المحيطة بمدينة نيفينوميسك تعرضت لهجمات بطائرات مسيرة.
في غضون ذلك، أعلن كيريل ديميترييف، المبعوث الخاص للرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، خلال زيارة له إلى الصين، أن المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف سيزور روسيا في المستقبل القريب.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today (Wednesday) that it has taken practical measures to prepare military formations and units for the use of nuclear weapons in a state of maximum combat readiness in anticipation of launching nuclear weapons.
The ministry stated in a statement: “As part of the nuclear forces exercises, practical measures have been practiced to prepare military formations and units for the use of nuclear weapons at the highest levels of combat readiness,” noting that the exercises of the Russian nuclear forces will continue from May 19 to 21.
It indicated that its forces equipped the mobile Iskander-M launch systems with nuclear warheads and loaded them, explaining that these forces trained to transport them to launch sites without being detected, as part of a large nuclear weapons maneuver.
The ministry mentioned that its air defense intercepted and destroyed 61 Ukrainian drones over Russian territories within two hours, and Ukrainian drones were also destroyed over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Leningrad, Kaluga, Kursk, Novgorod, Smolensk, and the Moscow region and its suburbs, as well as the Stavropol Territory.
Vladimir Vladimirov, the governor of the Stavropol region in southern Russia, stated that the industrial areas surrounding the city of Nevinnomyssk were targeted by drone attacks.
Meanwhile, Kirill Dmitriev, the special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, announced during his visit to China that U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff will visit Russia in the near future.
