أكد المستشار بالديوان الملكي والمشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة الدكتور عبدالله الربيعة، خلال مشاركته في الجلسة الإنسانية المغلقة بمؤتمر الشراكات العالمية في لندن، أنّ المملكة تؤمن بأن التمكين هو الطريق لتحقيق أفضل النتائج الإنسانية والتنموية. وأوضح أن الأمم المتحدة أطلقت في مارس 2025 مبادرة «الأمم المتحدة 80» لتحديث منظومتها وتعزيز الشفافية والمساءلة في العمل الإنساني.
وبيّن الربيعة أنَّ المركز يعتمد نهج التمكين والشراكة عبر توطين تنفيذ المشاريع وتعزيز الكفاءة التشغيلية، مشيراً إلى تنفيذ 459 مشروع توطين بقيمة 649 مليون دولار. كما استعرض أثر الشراكات الدولية؛ ومنها التعاون السعودي البريطاني الذي نتج عنه مشاريع بقيمة 35 مليون دولار، إضافة إلى عمل المركز مع أكثر من 340 شريكاً خلال عشر سنوات، وتقديم مساعدات تجاوزت 8.3 مليار دولار عبر أكثر من 4,200 مشروع في 113 دولة.
وفي ختام كلمته، شدد الربيعة على أن تضافر الجهود الدولية كفيل بمواجهة التحديات ومنح الأمل للمحتاجين حول العالم.
The advisor at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, confirmed during his participation in the closed humanitarian session at the Global Partnerships Conference in London that the Kingdom believes that empowerment is the path to achieving the best humanitarian and developmental outcomes. He explained that the United Nations launched the “UN 80” initiative in March 2025 to update its system and enhance transparency and accountability in humanitarian work.
Al-Rabeeah indicated that the center adopts an empowerment and partnership approach by localizing project implementation and enhancing operational efficiency, noting the implementation of 459 localization projects worth $649 million. He also reviewed the impact of international partnerships, including Saudi-British cooperation, which resulted in projects worth $35 million, in addition to the center’s work with more than 340 partners over ten years, providing assistance exceeding $8.3 billion through more than 4,200 projects in 113 countries.
In conclusion, Al-Rabeeah emphasized that the concerted efforts of the international community are capable of facing challenges and providing hope to those in need around the world.
