خضعت نُخب أدبية وثقافية على مر نصف قرن، لضغط الشعاراتية وشروطها مكرهين، أو بغير رضا وقناعة، إذ ما إن يحلّوا في بلدان، يرى زعماؤها أنهم حماة الدِيَار والدَّيَار، إلا وتحمّلوا وزر الشعار الجانح المُناقض للواقع، وربما رفعوه على رؤوسهم، أو لحّفوا به مناكبهم، أو احتزموه في وسطهم، ليكون عوناً لهم على شدّ الأزر، واستقامة الأوَد، وسدّ الرمق، ولا خلاف على أنّ السياسة والأدلجة تسلّلت إلى كثير مما يعدّه البعض عبادة أو قناعات، وعبثت بالهشّ من العقائد والأخلاق والقيم والمبادئ.
وفي كل عام يفد إلى المملكة ملايين الحجاج، من مذاهب، وطوائف، وبلدان، وتوجهات، ولم تَدْعُ ولا تَدَع بلاد الحرمين أحداً يرفع شعاراً يشيد بجهودها، أو يُثمّن دورها، ولا غفرت لأي ضيفٍ مُسيّس، تعكير صفو غيره من الحجاج، إذ ليس كل قاصدي العبادة ممسوسين بالسياسة، فهاجس المؤمنين أداء شعائرهم بمشاعر إيمانية في فضاء آمن، والعودة من حجهم بغفران الذنب ومحو الخطايا، كما لم تُلزم المملكة حاجّاً بمذهبها ولا فقهها، كونها ترعى وتُعنى بشعيرة الأصل فيها «تقوى القلوب والجوارح».
وما رعاية المملكة لضيوف الرحمن، وعنايتها إلا انطلاقاً من اختصاصها بهذا الأمر الذي سار عليه السلف الصالح من قادة شرُفوا بخدمة الحرمين، والله يصطفي لأشرف المهام أكرم عباده، مثلما يصطفي من الملائكة رُسلاً ومن الناس، ويكفي اليوم أن نتابع وقوف خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وولي عهده الأمين على موسم الحج، وإشرافهما المباشر على أداء القطاعات، التي يقف عليها الوزراء بأنفسهم وعلى مدار الساعة.
والحج المبرور يقوم على تعظيم حُرمة المكان والزمان والإنسان، فالمكان بُذِلَ ويُبذل فيه وعليه، مبالغ لا حدّ ولا حصر لأرقامها، وزُوّد بأحدث وأفضل الوسائل المُعينة على طاعة الله دون عناء، والزمان أيام معدودات، غالباً لا تزيد على أربعة أيام، سرعان ما تنقضي في لمح البصر، ومن جاء بقصد العبادة لن ينصرف للتُرّهات ويدع المثوبة والحسنات، أما الإنسان فإما أن يكون قائماً على خدمة الحجيج، أو مُشاركاً في النسك، أو متبرعاً لعمل الخير، وأداء مهام وظيفية أو تطوعيّة، وكلهم لا علاقة لهم بشأن سياسي ولا أيديولوجي، فالموسم الخيّر لا يتسع إلا لذِكر الله وما والاه.
كانت بلاد الحرمين، وما زالت، وستظل، مهوى أفئدة ومأرز إيمان، ولا ريب أنّ كثيراً من الحجاج تغيّرت قناعتهم، واطرحوا الأدلجة وشعارات التسييس، بحكم الواقع الإيماني الذي عاشوه، والمُعاش الذي شاهدوه، والأدب والاحترام الذي حظيوا به، فالضيوف ضيوف الله، والسعوديون قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً في خدمة الضيف، والله عزّ وجل، ورسوله المصطفى عليه أفضل الصلاة وأتم التسليم، والأسوياء من البشر، لا يقبلون من الضيف إساءة الأدب مع المُضيف، لأنها تطاول على الله تعالى، وعلى رسوله عليه السلام، وعلى المسلمين المسالمين الذين وقفوا أعمارهم وأموالهم لأداء فريضة طالما حلموا وتمنوا أن يسعفهم العمر والظروف ليتمكّنوا من أدائها، براءةً للذمة.
ربما يضيف علماء المقاصد في زمن لاحق إلى شروط استطاعة الحج، الاستطاعة بالوعي، وبُعد نظر المسلم في فهم معنى العبادة، وكذا الاستطاعة الروحية، والأخلاقية التي تجعله في ذروة إيمانياته على مستوى اللفظ والسلوك، إضافة إلى الوعي الثقافي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي، لبلوغ أسمى معاني وحدة الجسد والوجدان، فالحجُّ تجرّدٌ يليقُ بمن قرر الاتصال بالسماوات، لا تصفية حسابات.
موسم الحج لا يحتمل العبث ولا الفوضى، ولا إعطاء كل شخص على هواه، فالنظام أولاً وأخيراً ودائماً، والحجاج قدموا لمقصد العبادة، والمملكة هيأت لهم كل ما يلزم لتحقيق القصد بأيسر وآمن السُّبل. تقبّل الله من الجميع، وأعان ووفق قيادتنا وحكومة بلادنا على أداء ما أُنيط بهم من مسؤوليات خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين.
Literary and cultural elites have been subjected over half a century to the pressure of slogans and their conditions, either reluctantly or without satisfaction and conviction. As soon as they settle in countries whose leaders see themselves as protectors of the homeland and its people, they bear the burden of the misleading slogan that contradicts reality, and perhaps they raise it above their heads, or wrap it around their shoulders, or hold it in their midst, to assist them in strengthening their resolve, maintaining their integrity, and satisfying their needs. There is no doubt that politics and ideology have infiltrated much of what some consider worship or convictions, meddling with the fragile beliefs, morals, values, and principles.
Every year, millions of pilgrims from various sects, communities, countries, and orientations come to the Kingdom. The land of the Two Holy Mosques has neither invited nor allowed anyone to raise a slogan praising its efforts or valuing its role, nor has it forgiven any politicized guest for disturbing the peace of other pilgrims. Not all those who seek worship are influenced by politics; the concern of the believers is to perform their rituals with sincere faith in a safe environment and to return from their pilgrimage with forgiveness of sins and the erasure of wrongdoings. The Kingdom has not obligated any pilgrim to adhere to its sect or jurisprudence, as it takes care of the ritual whose essence is “piety of hearts and limbs.”
The Kingdom’s care for the guests of Allah and its attention stem from its specialization in this matter, which has been followed by the righteous predecessors among the leaders honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques. Allah chooses the noblest of His servants for the most honorable tasks, just as He selects messengers from among the angels and people. Today, it is enough to observe the presence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince during the Hajj season, overseeing the performance of the sectors, which the ministers themselves monitor around the clock.
The accepted pilgrimage is based on the sanctity of the place, time, and humanity. The place has been and continues to be endowed with unlimited and countless amounts of resources, equipped with the latest and best means to facilitate obedience to Allah without hardship. The time is limited to a few days, often not exceeding four days, which quickly pass in the blink of an eye. Those who come with the intention of worship will not be distracted by trivialities and will not forsake rewards and good deeds. As for humanity, they are either serving the pilgrims, participating in the rituals, or volunteering for charitable work, performing functional or voluntary tasks, and none of them has any political or ideological agenda. The blessed season accommodates only the remembrance of Allah and what is related to it.
The land of the Two Holy Mosques has been, and will continue to be, a destination for hearts and a stronghold of faith. There is no doubt that many pilgrims have changed their convictions, discarding ideology and politicized slogans due to the faith-based reality they experienced, the lived experiences they witnessed, and the respect and dignity they received. The guests are the guests of Allah, and the Saudis, as a leadership, government, and people, are at the service of the guest. Allah, the Almighty, and His chosen Messenger, may the best prayers and peace be upon him, along with the righteous among humanity, do not accept any disrespect from the guest towards the host, as it is an affront to Allah, the Exalted, and to His Messenger, peace be upon him, and to the peaceful Muslims who have dedicated their lives and wealth to perform a duty they have long dreamed of fulfilling, to clear their conscience.
Perhaps scholars of objectives will later add to the conditions of the ability to perform Hajj the awareness of the Muslim and the foresight in understanding the meaning of worship, as well as the spiritual and moral capability that elevates them to the peak of their faith in terms of words and actions, in addition to cultural, social, and economic awareness, to achieve the highest meanings of unity of body and spirit. Hajj is a detachment suitable for those who decide to connect with the heavens, not a settling of scores.
The Hajj season does not tolerate frivolity or chaos, nor does it allow each person to act as they please. Order is paramount, always and forever. The pilgrims have come for the purpose of worship, and the Kingdom has prepared everything necessary for them to achieve this goal in the easiest and safest ways. May Allah accept from everyone and assist and guide our leadership and government in fulfilling their responsibilities in serving Islam and Muslims.
