التقى وزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي الفيصل اليوم بعثة المنتخب السعودي الأول لكرة القدم، قبيل مغادرتها إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية للمشاركة في منافسات كأس العالم 2026.
ونقل خلال لقائه بالبعثة تحيات ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وأمنياته للمنتخب السعودي بالتوفيق في منافسات كأس العالم القادمة.
وأكد وزير الرياضة الأمير عبدالعزيز الفيصل خلال اللقاء، الذي حضره رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر المسحل، أن مشاركة المنتخب السعودي في هذا المحفل الكروي تعد امتداداً لتواجد الرياضة السعودية في مختلف المنافسات الكبرى، وحث اللاعبين على تقديم كل ما لديهم من إمكانات وروح عالية في الاستحقاق العالمي.
The Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, met today with the Saudi national football team delegation before their departure to the United States of America to participate in the 2026 World Cup.
During his meeting with the delegation, he conveyed the greetings of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and his wishes for the Saudi team to succeed in the upcoming World Cup competitions.
The Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal, emphasized during the meeting, which was attended by the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashal, that the Saudi team’s participation in this football event is an extension of the presence of Saudi sports in various major competitions, and he urged the players to give their all and show high spirits in this global event.
