أكد الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي اليوم (الثلاثاء) دعم بلاده للجهود المبذولة للتوصل إلى مذكرة تفاهم بين الجانبين الأمريكي والإيراني، وذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي مع الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان.
وأوضحت الرئاسة المصرية أن السيسي أكد دعم مصر الكامل للمسار التفاوضي القائم، مستعرضاً الاتصالات والجهود التي تبذلها القاهرة لتيسير المفاوضات وتمهيد الطريق نحو اتفاق نهائي وشامل يضع حداً للتصعيد ويعيد الأمن والاستقرار إلى المنطقة، مبينة أنه أشار إلى مشاركته في الاتصال الهاتفي المشترك الذي ضم الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب وعدداً من قادة الدول العربية والإقليمية.
وجدد السيسي تأكيد موقف مصر الداعي إلى تسوية سلمية لكافة أزمات المنطقة، ورفضها القاطع لأي اعتداء على سيادة دول الخليج أو تهديد سلامة أراضيها، مع التشديد على أهمية التحلي بالمرونة وتفادي الحسابات الخاطئة وإتاحة الفرصة الكافية للمسار الدبلوماسي.
وأشار إلى أن موقف مصر ثابت وقائم على احترام مبادئ القانون الدولي، وفي مقدمتها احترام سيادة الدول وحسن الجوار والتسوية السلمية للنزاعات.
من جانبه، استعرض الرئيس الإيراني مسار المفاوضات الجارية، معرباً عن تقديره للجهود المصرية والإقليمية الرامية إلى تقريب وجهات النظر بين طهران وواشنطن، ومشدداً على حرص بلاده على تعزيز العلاقات مع الدول العربية، لاسيما دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
من جهة أخرى، قال النائب الأول للرئيس الإيراني محمد رضا عارف إن إيران اتخذت خطوة أولى نحو الوصول الحر والمنظم إلى الفضاء الافتراضي تنفيذاً لوعد الحكومة، مضيفاً: «مع إعادة فتح الإنترنت ستتيسر الخدمات الذكية وتتحقق مطالب الشعب، كما ستُزال معوقات التنمية».
وأفادت خدمة «نتبلوكس» لمراقبة الإنترنت بوجود مؤشرات على عودة جزئية للاتصال بالإنترنت في إيران، موضحة أن البيانات أظهرت عودة جزئية للخدمة بعد انقطاع استمر 87 يوماً.
The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi confirmed today (Tuesday) his country’s support for efforts to reach a memorandum of understanding between the American and Iranian sides during a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian.
The Egyptian presidency clarified that Sisi affirmed Egypt’s full support for the ongoing negotiation process, reviewing the communications and efforts made by Cairo to facilitate the negotiations and pave the way for a final and comprehensive agreement that puts an end to escalation and restores security and stability to the region. It noted that he referred to his participation in the joint phone call that included U.S. President Donald Trump and a number of Arab and regional leaders.
Sisi reiterated Egypt’s position calling for a peaceful resolution to all regional crises and its firm rejection of any aggression against the sovereignty of Gulf states or threats to their territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of being flexible, avoiding miscalculations, and allowing sufficient opportunity for the diplomatic track.
He pointed out that Egypt’s position is steadfast and based on respect for the principles of international law, foremost among them respect for the sovereignty of states, good neighborliness, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.
For his part, the Iranian president reviewed the ongoing negotiations, expressing his appreciation for the Egyptian and regional efforts aimed at bridging the views between Tehran and Washington, and emphasizing his country’s keenness to enhance relations with Arab countries, especially the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
On another note, Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref stated that Iran has taken a first step towards free and organized access to the virtual space in implementation of the government’s promise, adding: “With the reopening of the internet, smart services will be facilitated, the demands of the people will be met, and obstacles to development will be removed.”
The “NetBlocks” internet monitoring service reported indicators of a partial return of internet connectivity in Iran, explaining that data showed a partial restoration of service after a disruption that lasted 87 days.
