أعلن الجيش اللبناني اليوم (الخميس) مقتل أحد جنوده في غارة إسرائيلية استهدفته أثناء تنقله على طريق زفتا – دير الزهراني في النبطية، جنوب البلاد.
وارتفع عدد قتلى الجيش اللبناني إلى ثلاثة خلال 24 ساعة، بعد تمكن الجيش أمس من انتشال جثة جندي آخر.
وتشهد مناطق في جنوب لبنان وشرقه تصعيداً عسكرياً إسرائيلياً مكثفاً طال مدينتي صور وصيدا وقضاء بعلبك، وسط مساعٍ من الجيش الإسرائيلي لعزل منطقة جنوب نهر الليطاني عبر قصف الجسور.
وأكدت وزارة الصحة اللبنانية، مقتل 6 أشخاص بينهم طفلان في غارة إسرائيلية فجراً على سيارة في بلدة عدلون جنوب البلاد، موضحة أن عدد القتلى خلال الـ24 ساعة ارتفع إلى 9 أشخاص بعد مقتل 3 أمس وإصابة 37 آخرين.
وتتزامن هذه الغارات مع محاولات توغل بري إسرائيلية بلغت ذروتها بمحاولة العبور إلى شمال الليطاني. وبحسب الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام اللبنانية الرسمية، فإن مجموعتين من الغارات الإسرائيلية استهدفتا مدينة صور ومنطقة تقع إلى شرقها صباح اليوم، فيما استهدفت إحدى الغارات مبنى وتسببت باندلاع حريق.
فيما ذكر شهود عيان أن إسرائيل شنت سلسلة غارات على جنوب لبنان طالت بلدات زبدين وتبنين والغندورية وتول وزبقين والمنصوري.
وفي المقابل، أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي مقتل مجندة وإصابة مجندين اثنين بجروح خطرة ومتوسطة جراء انفجار طائرة مسيّرة أُطلقت من لبنان باتجاه موقع قرب الحدود.
وذكرت القناة 12 الإسرائيلية أن 12 جندياً وضابطاً قُتلوا منذ بدء وقف إطلاق النار مع لبنان، مشيرة إلى أن ثمانية منهم قُتلوا بواسطة المسيّرات الانقضاضية التي يطلقها حزب الله، والتي لم تجد إسرائيل حلاً فعالاً للتصدي لها حتى الآن.
وأفادت القناة الإسرائيلية بأن 15 مسيّرة انقضاضية تسللت من لبنان خلال الساعات الـ24 الماضية إلى شمال إسرائيل، مؤكدة أن خمساً منها انفجرت قرب مواقع عسكرية إسرائيلية.
وأوضح الجيش الإسرائيلي، في بيان، أنه بدأ استهداف بنى تحتية تابعة لحزب الله في محيط مدينة صور، وذلك بعد إصدار عدد من التحذيرات لسكان مدينتي صور والنبطية وبلدة زقوق المفدي جنوب لبنان.
The Lebanese army announced today (Thursday) the death of one of its soldiers in an Israeli airstrike that targeted him while he was traveling on the Zefta – Deir Zahani road in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon.
The number of Lebanese army casualties has risen to three within 24 hours, after the army managed to recover the body of another soldier yesterday.
Areas in southern and eastern Lebanon are witnessing intensified Israeli military escalation affecting the cities of Tyre and Sidon and the Baalbek district, amid Israeli army efforts to isolate the area south of the Litani River by bombing bridges.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed the deaths of 6 people, including two children, in an Israeli airstrike early in the morning on a car in the town of Adloun in southern Lebanon, explaining that the death toll over the past 24 hours has risen to 9 people after 3 were killed yesterday and 37 others were injured.
These airstrikes coincide with attempts at Israeli ground incursions that peaked with an attempt to cross into northern Litani. According to the official Lebanese National News Agency, two groups of Israeli airstrikes targeted the city of Tyre and an area located east of it this morning, while one of the strikes hit a building and caused a fire to break out.
Witnesses reported that Israel launched a series of airstrikes on southern Lebanon targeting the towns of Zabdine, Tabbnin, Al-Ghandouriya, Tull, Zibqin, and Al-Mansouri.
In contrast, the Israeli army announced the death of a female soldier and the serious and moderate injuries of two other soldiers due to the explosion of a drone launched from Lebanon towards a site near the border.
Channel 12 in Israel reported that 12 soldiers and officers have been killed since the ceasefire with Lebanon began, noting that eight of them were killed by the kamikaze drones launched by Hezbollah, which Israel has not found an effective solution to counter so far.
The Israeli channel reported that 15 kamikaze drones infiltrated from Lebanon into northern Israel over the past 24 hours, confirming that five of them exploded near Israeli military sites.
The Israeli army clarified in a statement that it has begun targeting Hezbollah infrastructure around the city of Tyre, following the issuance of several warnings to the residents of the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh and the town of Zaqouq Al-Mafdi in southern Lebanon.
