لا تزال مذكرة التفاهم بين إيران والولايات المتحدة تراوح مكانها، وسط تأكيدات بحدوث تغييرات في بعض بنودها، ووفقاً لمصادر إيرانية وأمريكية، اليوم (الجمعة)، فإن المذكرة لم يتم الانتهاء منها بعد.
ونقلت وكالة «رويترز» عن مصادر قولها إن الولايات المتحدة وإيران توصلتا إلى اتفاق لتمديد وقف إطلاق النار، والسماح برفع القيود عن الملاحة عبر مضيق هرمز، وفك الحصار الأمريكي عن موانئ إيران، ورفع بعض العقوبات المفروضة عليها، إلا أن الاتفاق لم تُستكمل لمساته النهائية بعد.
بدورها، نقلت وكالة «تسنيم» الإيرانية اليوم عن مصدر قوله إن مذكرة التفاهم المحتملة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة شهدت تغييرات في الأيام الماضية، ولم يتم الانتهاء من النص بعد.
وأثارت التقارير الإعلامية حالة من الجدل والغموض بشأن التوصل إلى مسودة مذكرة تفاهم بين واشنطن وطهران حول البرنامج النووي الإيراني وإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز.
وأوضح مسؤولون أمريكيون أن الاتفاق لا يتضمن اتفاقات جانبية أو بنوداً سرية تتعلق بتخفيف العقوبات أو الإفراج عن الأموال الإيرانية المجمدة.
وكان مسؤول في البيت الأبيض قد قال إن المفاوضات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران تسير على ما يرام، موضحاً أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أوضح خطوطه الحمراء.
وأشار المسؤول إلى أن ترمب لن يبرم سوى اتفاق جيد للشعب الأمريكي، يجب أن يضمن عدم تمكن إيران من الحصول على سلاح نووي أبداً.
The memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States remains stagnant, amid assurances of changes in some of its clauses. According to Iranian and American sources today (Friday), the memorandum has not yet been finalized.
Reuters reported that sources said the United States and Iran have reached an agreement to extend the ceasefire, allow the lifting of restrictions on navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, lift the American blockade on Iranian ports, and ease some of the sanctions imposed on it; however, the agreement has not yet completed its final touches.
For its part, the Iranian news agency “Tasnim” reported today that a source stated that the potential memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States has seen changes in recent days, and the text has not yet been finalized.
The media reports have sparked a state of controversy and ambiguity regarding the drafting of a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran concerning the Iranian nuclear program and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
American officials clarified that the agreement does not include side agreements or secret clauses related to easing sanctions or releasing frozen Iranian funds.
A White House official had stated that negotiations between the United States and Iran are going well, explaining that President Donald Trump has made his red lines clear.
The official indicated that Trump will only sign a good deal for the American people, which must ensure that Iran can never obtain a nuclear weapon.
