هدّد رئيس أركان الجيش الإسرائيلي إيال زامير، اليوم (الجمعة)، بتعميق الضربات لحزب الله وإبعاد التهديدات والدفاع عن شمال إسرائيل.
وقال رئيس أركان الجيش الإسرائيلي خلال تفقد قواته بمزارع شبعا: قتل 7,500 مسلح من حزب الله بينهم 2,500 منذ مارس الماضي، موضحاً إن الضرر التراكمي اللاحق بحزب الله بالغ وغير مسبوق.
وأشار إلى أن قواته تتقدم وكل إنجاز إضافي يعزز الأمن ويساعد السياسيين على خلق ظروف أفضل لترتيبات أمنية مستقبلية، مهدداً بضرب حزب الله في كل مكان.
في المقابل، قال شهود عيان إن هناك قصفاً مدفعياً إسرائيلياً وغارات على مدينة النبطية وبلدات كفررمان وشوكين وميفدون ومنطقة كفرجوز بقضاء النبطية جنوبي لبنان.
وأشاروا إلى وجود غارات أخرى نفذتها مسيّرة إسرائيلية على بلدتي طيردبا ومعروب جنوبي لبنان.
وذكرت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام أن فرق الإنقاذ في الدفاع المدني تمكنت من انتشال جثتي قتيلين من المنزل الذي استهدفته الطائرات الإسرائيلية في بلدة طيردبا بقضاء صور أمس، مؤكدة ارتفاع الحصيلة النهائية إلى قتيلين و5 جرحى.
وأشارت إلى أن هناك غارات على طريق عام طيردبا – صور بالقرب من مفرق شارنية، ما خلّف إصابات.
بدورها، قالت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة «اليونيسيف»، إن إسرائيل قتلت وأصابت 11 طفلاً في المتوسط كل 24 ساعة، خلال هجمات الأسبوع الماضي على لبنان.
The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, threatened today (Friday) to intensify strikes against Hezbollah, aiming to eliminate threats and defend northern Israel.
During a visit to his troops in the Shebaa Farms, the Chief of Staff stated that 7,500 Hezbollah militants have been killed, including 2,500 since last March, explaining that the cumulative damage inflicted on Hezbollah is severe and unprecedented.
He indicated that his forces are advancing, and every additional achievement enhances security and helps politicians create better conditions for future security arrangements, threatening to strike Hezbollah everywhere.
In contrast, eyewitnesses reported Israeli artillery shelling and airstrikes on the city of Nabatieh and the towns of Kfar Rumman, Shoukin, Mivdoun, and the Kfar Joz area in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.
They noted that there were additional airstrikes carried out by an Israeli drone on the towns of Tayr Debba and Maaroub in southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency reported that rescue teams from the Civil Defense managed to recover the bodies of two victims from the house targeted by Israeli planes in the town of Tayr Debba in the Tyre district yesterday, confirming that the final toll has risen to two dead and five wounded.
It also mentioned that there were airstrikes on the main road between Tayr Debba and Tyre near the Sharniya intersection, resulting in injuries.
For its part, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) stated that Israel killed and injured an average of 11 children every 24 hours during last week’s attacks on Lebanon.
