أعلنت رومانيا، اليوم (الجمعة)، أن القنصل العام الروسي شخص غير مرغوب فيه، مطالبة إياه بمغادرة البلاد بسرعة، وذلك بعد تحطم مسيّرة على أراضيها، فيما هددت الخارجية الروسية بالرد.
وقال الرئيس نيكوسور دان في كلمة مصورة: «تتحمل روسيا المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الحادثة.. وفي ضوء هذا الوضع، تم إعلان القنصل العام لروسيا الاتحادية في كونستانتا شخصاً غير مرغوب فيه، وسيتم إغلاق القنصلية العامة في كونستانتا».
واستدعت رومانيا السفير الروسي في بوخارست في وقت سابق اليوم، عقب سقوط مسيّرة على مبنى سكني، ما أسفر عن إصابة شخصين، في حادثة بالغة الخطورة، وفق ما صرحت به وزيرة الخارجية أوانا تويو.
وقالت الوزيرة: «سنُبلغ السفير رسمياً بتداعيات هذا العمل غير المسؤول من جانب روسيا على العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين بلدينا، فضلاً عن الخطوات التالية على المستوى الأوروبي فيما يتعلق بحزم العقوبات».
ودانت وزارة الخارجية الرومانية ما وصفته بـ«التصعيد الخطير وغير المسؤول» من جانب روسيا، وذلك بعد ارتطام مسيّرة روسية بمبنى في مدينة بشرق رومانيا قرب الحدود مع أوكرانيا، ما أسفر عن إصابة شخصين بجروح طفيفة.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان إن «هذه الحادثة تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وغير مسؤول من جانب روسيا الاتحادية»، مبينة أنها «أبلغت حلفاءها والأمين العام لحلف شمال الأطلسي (الناتو) بالوضع، وطلبت اتخاذ تدابير لتسريع نقل قدرات مكافحة الطائرات المسيّرة إلى رومانيا».
في المقابل، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الروسية أنها «سترد قريباً على قرار رومانيا إغلاق قنصليتها».
Romania announced today (Friday) that the Russian consul general is a persona non grata, demanding that he leave the country quickly, following the crash of a drone on its territory, while the Russian Foreign Ministry threatened to respond.
President Nicolae Ciucă stated in a video address: “Russia bears full responsibility for this incident… In light of this situation, the consul general of the Russian Federation in Constanța has been declared a persona non grata, and the general consulate in Constanța will be closed.”
Romania summoned the Russian ambassador in Bucharest earlier today, following the crash of a drone on a residential building, which resulted in two injuries, in a highly serious incident, according to Foreign Minister Oana Lungescu.
The minister said: “We will officially inform the ambassador of the consequences of this irresponsible act by Russia on the diplomatic relations between our two countries, as well as the next steps at the European level regarding sanctions packages.”
The Romanian Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as “serious and irresponsible escalation” by Russia, following the collision of a Russian drone with a building in a city in eastern Romania near the border with Ukraine, resulting in two people sustaining minor injuries.
The ministry stated in a statement that “this incident represents a serious and irresponsible escalation by the Russian Federation,” noting that it “has informed its allies and the Secretary General of NATO about the situation and requested measures to expedite the transfer of drone countermeasures to Romania.”
In contrast, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it “will respond soon to Romania’s decision to close its consulate.”
