أعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الصحة الكويتية عبدالله السند، اليوم (الأربعاء)، استقبال المستشفيات 63 مصاباً في الاعتداء الإيراني الغاشم على الكويت.
وقال السند في بيان: نقوم باستنفار صحي شامل منذ الساعات الأولى للاعتداء الإيراني الغاشم على دولة الكويت، موضحاً أن المنظومة الصحية تواصل رفع جاهزيتها على مدار الساعة.
وأوضح أن الإصابات شملت المدنيين والعاملين في المطار والمسافرين، وتضمنت إصابات بالغة ومتوسطة وعدداً من الحالات الحرجة، إضافة إلى حالات اختناق ناجمة عن الانفجارات.
وأشار إلى أنه تم إجراء 7 عمليات جراحية كبرى عاجلة للجرحى، لافتاً إلى أنه جرى تفعيل خطط الطوارئ ورفع درجات الجاهزية في جميع المؤسسات الصحية، واستنفار الكوادر الطبية والتمريضية والفنية منذ الساعات الأولى للحادث.
وأشار إلى أن فرق الطوارئ الطبية و25 سيارة إسعاف تحركت إلى موقع الحدث في مطار الكويت الدولي لتنفيذ عمليات الفرز الميداني والإسعاف العاجل ونقل المصابين إلى المستشفيات، موضحاً أنه تم توزيع الجرحى على المستشفيات وفق خطط الطوارئ الوطنية بما يضمن استمرارية الخدمات الصحية والاستفادة المثلى من القدرات السريرية والتخصصية.
وكان مطار الكويت قد تعرض لهجوم بطائرات مسيّرة وصواريخ باليستية صباح اليوم، وقالت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية إن الهجوم أسفر عن وفاة شخص وإصابة آخرين، إضافة إلى أضرار جسيمة في منشآت المطار.
وندّدت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية في بيان بالهجوم، واصفة إياه بأنه «نهج عدواني إيراني منظم».
The spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced today (Wednesday) that hospitals have received 63 injured individuals from the brutal Iranian attack on Kuwait.
Al-Sanad stated in a statement: “We are conducting a comprehensive health mobilization since the early hours of the brutal Iranian attack on the State of Kuwait,” explaining that the health system continues to raise its readiness around the clock.
He clarified that the injuries included civilians, airport workers, and travelers, and involved severe and moderate injuries, along with several critical cases, in addition to cases of suffocation resulting from the explosions.
He noted that 7 urgent major surgeries have been performed on the wounded, pointing out that emergency plans have been activated and readiness levels raised in all health institutions, with medical, nursing, and technical staff mobilized since the early hours of the incident.
He indicated that medical emergency teams and 25 ambulances moved to the scene at Kuwait International Airport to carry out field triage, urgent medical assistance, and transport the injured to hospitals, explaining that the wounded were distributed to hospitals according to national emergency plans to ensure the continuity of health services and optimal utilization of clinical and specialized capacities.
Kuwait International Airport was attacked by drones and ballistic missiles this morning, and the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the attack resulted in one death and several injuries, in addition to severe damage to airport facilities.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack in a statement, describing it as a “systematic Iranian aggressive approach.”
