أوضح المركز الوطني للأرصاد، أن التوقعات المناخية لفصل الصيف لعام 2026، خلال أشهر يونيو ويوليو وأغسطس، تشير إلى ارتفاع متوسط درجات الحرارة بأعلى من المعدل الطبيعي على جميع مناطق السعودية، مع تباين فرص هطول الأمطار بين المعدل الطبيعي وأقل منه في عدد من المناطق.
وبيّن الأرصاد، في تقريره المناخي الموسمي، أن هطول الأمطار خلال يونيو يتوقع أن يكون حول المعدل على جميع مناطق المملكة، فيما تشير التوقعات لشهر يوليو إلى أمطار أقل من المعدل على جازان والباحة وأجزاء من عسير ومكة المكرمة ونجران والمنطقة الشرقية، في حين تبقى حول المعدل الطبيعي على بقية المناطق.
وأفاد التقرير، أن أغسطس يتوقع أن يشهد هطول أمطار أقل من المعدل على جازان والباحة وأجزاء من تبوك والمدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة وعسير ونجران والمنطقة الشرقية، بينما تكون حول المعدل الطبيعي على باقي الأجزاء والمناطق.
وفي ما يتعلق بدرجات الحرارة، أوضح المركز، أن يونيو قد يشهد ارتفاعاً يصل إلى 1.5 درجة مئوية فوق المعدل الطبيعي على مناطق جازان والباحة وأجزاء من مكة المكرمة وعسير والمدينة المنورة والرياض والقصيم وحائل وتبوك، فيما يتوقع أن تسجل درجات الحرارة خلال يوليو وأغسطس ارتفاعاً فوق المعدل الطبيعي يصل إلى 1.6 درجة مئوية على جازان والباحة وأجزاء من عسير ومكة المكرمة.
The National Center of Meteorology clarified that the climate forecasts for the summer of 2026, during the months of June, July, and August, indicate an increase in average temperatures above the normal rate across all regions of Saudi Arabia, with varying chances of rainfall between the normal rate and below it in several areas.
The meteorology report, in its seasonal climate report, indicated that rainfall in June is expected to be around the average for all regions of the Kingdom, while forecasts for July suggest lower than average rainfall in Jazan, Al-Baha, parts of Asir, Makkah, Najran, and the Eastern Province, while remaining around the normal rate in the rest of the regions.
The report stated that August is expected to witness lower than average rainfall in Jazan, Al-Baha, parts of Tabuk, Al-Madinah, Makkah, Asir, Najran, and the Eastern Province, while being around the normal rate in the remaining parts and regions.
Regarding temperatures, the center explained that June may see an increase of up to 1.5 degrees Celsius above the normal rate in the regions of Jazan, Al-Baha, parts of Makkah, Asir, Al-Madinah, Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Al-Hail, and Tabuk, while temperatures in July and August are expected to rise above the normal rate by up to 1.6 degrees Celsius in Jazan, Al-Baha, and parts of Asir and Makkah.
