اتهمت الشبكة اليمنية للحقوق والحريات، الحوثي بارتكاب 29891 انتهاكا وجريمة بحق الطفولة في اليمن خلال الفترة من 1 يناير 2015 وحتى 30 مارس 2026.
وقالت الشبكة في تقرير، اليوم (الخميس)، إن جماعة الحوثي تسببت في مقتل 5180 طفلا، بينهم 582 رضيعا نتيجة القنص والقصف العشوائي والألغام والمجازر الجماعية وغيرها من الانتهاكات، فيما أصيب 6748 طفلا بإصابات مختلفة، من بينهم مئات الأطفال الذين تعرضوا لإعاقات دائمة بسبب الألغام الأرضية.
وأشار التقرير إلى توثيق 348 حالة اختطاف وإخفاء قسري للأطفال، و167 حالة اغتصاب، إضافة إلى تعرض عدد من الأطفال المختطفين للتعذيب الجسدي والنفسي داخل معتقلات الجماعة، بينهم أطفال قضوا تحت التعذيب.
وأكدت الشبكة أن جماعة الحوثي تسببت في تهجير وتشريد نحو 43965 طفلا، كما دفعت الظروف الناجمة عن الحرب والانقلاب أكثر من 3 ملايين طفل إلى سوق العمل، وحرمت نحو 4.5 مليون طفل من التعليم نتيجة تحويل المدارس إلى ثكنات عسكرية ومراكز للتعبئة والتجنيد.
وفي ملف تجنيد الأطفال، أوضح التقرير أن الحوثيين مستمرون في تجنيد الأطفال وإشراكهم في العمليات العسكرية، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي الإنساني واتفاقية حقوق الطفل، مبينا أن تقارير دولية تتحدث عن تجنيد الحوثيين لأكثر من 40 ألف طفل، كما وثقت الشبكة مقتل 6823 طفلا مجندا وإصابة 9986 آخرين.
وأشارت الشبكة إلى أن هذه الانتهاكات تمثل جرائم جسيمة ترقى إلى جرائم ضد الإنسانية، وتشكل خرقا واضحا للقانون الدولي الإنساني والاتفاقيات الدولية الخاصة بحماية الأطفال، داعية جماعة الحوثي إلى الوقف الفوري لتجنيد الأطفال وإطلاق سراح المختطفين منهم.
وطالبت الشبكة المجتمع الدولي والأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الحقوقية إلى اتخاذ إجراءات فاعلة لحماية أطفال اليمن ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن هذه الانتهاكات، محذرة من خطر فقدان جيل كامل من الأطفال إذا استمرت هذه الجرائم دون تحرك دولي جاد.
The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms has accused the Houthis of committing 29,891 violations and crimes against childhood in Yemen from January 1, 2015, to March 30, 2026.
In a report released today (Thursday), the network stated that the Houthi group has caused the deaths of 5,180 children, including 582 infants, due to sniper fire, random shelling, landmines, mass killings, and other violations. Additionally, 6,748 children have been injured in various ways, including hundreds of children who have suffered permanent disabilities due to landmines.
The report noted the documentation of 348 cases of abduction and enforced disappearance of children, and 167 cases of rape, in addition to several abducted children being subjected to physical and psychological torture inside the group’s detention centers, including children who died under torture.
The network confirmed that the Houthi group has caused the displacement and homelessness of approximately 43,965 children. Furthermore, the conditions resulting from the war and the coup have pushed more than 3 million children into the labor market, and about 4.5 million children have been deprived of education due to the conversion of schools into military barracks and recruitment centers.
Regarding the issue of child recruitment, the report clarified that the Houthis continue to recruit children and involve them in military operations, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. It pointed out that international reports indicate the recruitment of more than 40,000 children by the Houthis, and the network has documented the deaths of 6,823 recruited children and the injuries of 9,986 others.
The network indicated that these violations constitute serious crimes that amount to crimes against humanity and represent a clear breach of international humanitarian law and international agreements concerning the protection of children. It called on the Houthi group to immediately cease the recruitment of children and release those who have been abducted.
The network urged the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations to take effective measures to protect the children of Yemen and hold those responsible for these violations accountable, warning of the danger of losing an entire generation of children if these crimes continue without serious international action.
