أعلن الاتحاد البرازيلي لكرة القدم غياب نجم منتخب «السيليساو» نيمار دا سيلفا عن المباراة الودية أمام مصر، المقررة في الواحدة صباح الأحد القادم على ملعب «هنتنغتون بانك» في ولاية أوهايو الأمريكية، ضمن استعدادات المنتخبين لبطولة كأس العالم 2026، التي تستضيفها الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك خلال الفترة من 11 يونيو إلى 19 يوليو.
سبب الغياب
وأوضح الاتحاد البرازيلي في بيان أن نيمار لن يرافق بعثة المنتخب إلى مباراة مصر، إذ سيبقى في نيوجيرسي لاستكمال العلاج الطبيعي وتكثيف برنامجه التأهيلي، تمهيداً للعودة إلى الملاعب.
ويغيب نيمار، الهداف التاريخي لمنتخب البرازيل، عن الملاعب بسبب إصابة من الدرجة الثانية في عضلة ربلة الساق، وهي إصابة عضلية متوسطة تتضمن تمزقاً جزئياً.
مجموعتا البرازيل ومصر
وسيخوض المنتخب البرازيلي منافسات كأس العالم 2026 ضمن المجموعة الثالثة إلى جانب المغرب وهايتي وأسكتلندا، فيما يقع منتخب مصر في المجموعة السابعة رفقة بلجيكا وإيران ونيوزيلندا.
The Brazilian Football Confederation announced the absence of the “Seleção” star Neymar da Silva from the friendly match against Egypt, scheduled for 1 AM next Sunday at the “Huntington Bank” stadium in Ohio, USA, as part of both teams’ preparations for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
Reason for Absence
The Brazilian Confederation clarified in a statement that Neymar will not accompany the national team to the match against Egypt, as he will remain in New Jersey to continue his physical therapy and intensify his rehabilitation program in preparation for his return to the field.
Neymar, the all-time top scorer for the Brazilian national team, is sidelined due to a grade two injury in his calf muscle, which is a moderate muscle injury involving a partial tear.
Brazil and Egypt’s Groups
The Brazilian national team will compete in the 2026 World Cup in Group C alongside Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland, while the Egyptian national team is in Group G with Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.
