أعلنت رئاسة الأركان العامة للجيش الكويتي أن منظومات الدفاع الجوي تتصدى حالياً لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيّرة معادية تستهدف البلاد، مؤكدة جاهزية القوات المسلحة للتعامل مع التهديدات الجوية.
وأوضحت رئاسة الأركان في بيان رسمي أن الأصوات التي قد تُسمع في بعض المناطق هي نتيجة عمليات اعتراض تنفذها منظومات الدفاع الجوي ضد الأهداف المعادية، في إطار حماية الأجواء الكويتية والحفاظ على أمن البلاد.
دعوة للالتزام بإرشادات السلامة
ودعت رئاسة الأركان المواطنين والمقيمين إلى التقيد بتعليمات الأمن والسلامة الصادرة عن الجهات المختصة، ومتابعة البيانات الرسمية للحصول على المعلومات الدقيقة، وعدم الانسياق وراء الشائعات أو المعلومات غير الموثوقة.
وأكدت أن الجهات العسكرية والأمنية تتابع تطورات الموقف على مدار الساعة، وتتخذ الإجراءات اللازمة للتعامل مع أي مستجدات بما يضمن سلامة السكان وحماية المنشآت الحيوية.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that air defense systems are currently intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks targeting the country, affirming the readiness of the armed forces to deal with aerial threats.
The General Staff clarified in an official statement that the sounds that may be heard in some areas are the result of interception operations carried out by air defense systems against hostile targets, as part of the efforts to protect Kuwaiti airspace and maintain the country’s security.
Call to adhere to safety guidelines
The General Staff urged citizens and residents to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities, to follow official statements for accurate information, and not to be misled by rumors or unreliable information.
It confirmed that military and security agencies are monitoring the developments of the situation around the clock and are taking necessary measures to address any new developments to ensure the safety of the population and protect vital facilities.
