واصل النجم سلطان مندش تألقه اللافت مع المنتخب السعودي حينما نجح في تسجيل ثاني أهدافه في مرمى منتخب بورتوريكو في المباراة التي انتهت لصالح الأخضر بثلاثية نظيفة، إذ كان أول أهداف مندش في شباك منتخب الإكوادور في اللقاء الودي الأول الذي انتهى بخسارة الأخضر 2/1، خلال المعسكر الإعدادي الحالي لكأس العالم 2026.
واستطاع اللاعب سلطان مندش كسب ثقة مدرب المنتخب السعودي دونيس، من خلال المباراتين الوديتين أمام منتخبي الإكوادور وبورتوريكو، اللتين شارك فيهما وقدم أداء فنياً مميزاً ونجح في هز الشباك مرتين.
ويطمح مندش في الظهور المشرف مع الأخضر من خلال مباريات المجموعة الثامنة ضمن بطولة كأس العالم القادمة، إذ سيفتتح المنتخب السعودي مواجهاته بلقاء منتخب الأوروغواي، الثلاثاء 16 يونيو الجاري، الساعة 1:00 صباحاً، ومن ثم يواجه منتخب إسبانيا، الأحد 21 من الشهر نفسه، الساعة 7:00 مساء، ويلتقي مع منتخب الرأس الأخضر، السبت 27 من الشهر ذاته الساعة 3:00 صباحاً في ختام مباريات دور المجموعات في البطولة.
وخاض مندش 7 تجارب احترافية مع أندية (الاتحاد، ونجران، والفيصلي، والأهلي، والفيحاء، والتعاون، والهلال)، وانضم مجددا لصفوف المنتخب السعودي بقيادة المدرب الحالي اليوناني دونيس استعدادا للمشاركة في كأس العالم 2026، إذ كان الإنضمام الأول عام 2019 إبان إشراف المدرب الوطني المؤقت يوسف عنبر على الأخضر وشارك في مباراتين ضد منتخبي الإمارات وغينيا الإستوائية.

Mandash aims to make a commendable appearance with the Green during the group stage matches in the upcoming World Cup, as the Saudi national team will open its matches against the Uruguay national team on Tuesday, June 16, at 1:00 AM, and then face the Spain national team on Sunday, the 21st of the same month, at 7:00 PM, and will meet the Cape Verde national team on Saturday, the 27th of the same month at 3:00 AM in the final group stage matches of the tournament.
Mandash has had 7 professional experiences with clubs (Al-Ittihad, Najran, Al-Faisaly, Al-Ahli, Al-Fayha, Al-Taawoun, and Al-Hilal), and he has rejoined the Saudi national team under the current Greek coach Donis in preparation for participating in the 2026 World Cup. His first inclusion was in 2019 during the supervision of the interim national coach Youssef Anbar over the Green, where he participated in two matches against the national teams of the UAE and Equatorial Guinea.
