أصدرت المحكمة الاقتصادية في الإسكندرية حكماً على البلوغر المصري المعروف باسم كروان مشاكل، يقضي بسجنه عامين مع الشغل وتغريمه 200 ألف جنيه مصري، على خلفية اتهامه بنشر محتوى اعتُبر خادشاً للحياء العام عبر تطبيق «تيك توك».
كفالة ومصاريف جنائية
وألزمت المحكمة «مشاكل» بدفع المصاريف الجنائية، وكفالة مالية بقيمة 50 ألف جنيه، إضافة إلى مصادرة المضبوطات المرتبطة بالقضية.
وتعود القضية إلى مايو الماضي، بعدما رصدت الأجهزة الأمنية مقاطع فيديو نُشرت عبر حساباته على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، تضمّنت عبارات ومشاهد اعتبرتها جهات التحقيق مخالفة للقوانين المنظمة للنشر الإلكتروني ومنافية للقيم المجتمعية.
محتوى مخالف
وبعد توقيف «مشاكل» في الإسكندرية، باشرت نيابة الشؤون الاقتصادية التحقيقات، قبل إحالته على محكمة الجنح الاقتصادية التي أصدرت حكمها النهائي.
وأعلنت وزارة الداخلية المصرية سابقاً أن توقيف «كروان مشاكل» يأتي لنشر محتوى «يتعارض مع القيم المجتمعية»، مشيرةً إلى إقراره خلال التحقيقات بأن الهدف من الفيديوهات كان تحقيق نسب مشاهدة مرتفعة وأرباحاً مالية عبر المنصات الرقمية.
حجب الحسابات
وحجب المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام في مصر سابقاً الحسابات الإلكترونية التابعة له وأغلقها على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، مع إحالة الواقعة للنيابة العامة.
وأثارت القضية جدلاً واسعاً في مصر خلال الأشهر الماضية، في ظل تصاعد النقاش حول حدود المحتوى المنشور عبر المنصات الرقمية، والمسؤولية القانونية والأخلاقية التي يتحمّلها صنّاع المحتوى في سباق المشاهدات.
The Economic Court in Alexandria issued a ruling against the Egyptian blogger known as “Crowan Mashakel,” sentencing him to two years in prison with hard labor and imposing a fine of 200,000 Egyptian pounds, following accusations of publishing content deemed offensive to public decency via the “TikTok” application.
Bail and Criminal Expenses
The court ordered “Mashakel” to pay the criminal expenses and a financial bail of 50,000 pounds, in addition to confiscating the items related to the case.
The case dates back to last May, when security agencies monitored video clips published through his accounts on social media, which included phrases and scenes that the investigative authorities considered violations of the laws governing electronic publishing and contrary to societal values.
Violating Content
After the arrest of “Mashakel” in Alexandria, the Economic Affairs Prosecution began investigations, before referring him to the Economic Misdemeanor Court, which issued its final ruling.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior previously announced that the arrest of “Crowan Mashakel” was due to publishing content that “contradicts societal values,” noting that he admitted during investigations that the aim of the videos was to achieve high viewership rates and financial profits through digital platforms.
Account Suspension
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt previously suspended his electronic accounts and closed them on social media platforms, referring the incident to the Public Prosecution.
The case has sparked widespread controversy in Egypt over the past months, amid rising discussions about the limits of content published on digital platforms and the legal and ethical responsibilities that content creators bear in the race for views.
