عقد أمير منطقة عسير الأمير تركي بن طلال، اجتماعات مع وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية المهندس صالح الجاسر، وقيادات المنظومة، لمتابعة عدد من الملفات الإستراتيجية الداعمة لصعود عسير، شملت استكمال مشاريع الطرق المتبقية، وتطوير مطار أبها الدولي الحالي، والطريق المحوري الرابط بين عسير وجازان، إضافةً إلى خطط المنظومة لرفع جاهزية المنطقة ضمن استعدادات المملكة لاستضافة كأس العالم 2034.
وأطلق الأمير تركي بن طلال، 9 مشاريع تنموية للطرق بتكلفة بلغت 473 مليون ريال، وبطول إجمالي يصل إلى 252 كم، بما يعزز شبكة طرق المنطقة التي تتجاوز 5304 كم، ويدعم الترابط المكاني الذي يعد أحد أهم الممكنات الإستراتيجية لصعود عسير.
وأكّد الأمير تركي بن طلال أن هذه المشاريع تعكس الدعم السخي والاهتمام الكبير الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة لتنمية وتطوير مناطق المملكة كافة، تحقيقاً لرؤية المملكة 2030، التي تهدف إلى تحسين جودة الحياة وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة، مثمناً جهود وزارة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية بقطاعاتها ومنظومتها المتكاملة، بما تقدمه من خدمات متميزة تسهم في تعزيز التنمية الشاملة في منطقة عسير ومحافظاتها.
وأوضح وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية أن هذه المشاريع تأتي امتداداً لدعم القيادة الرشيدة لقطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، لا سيّما أن مشاريع الطرق المدشّنة ستسهم في تعزيز حركة التنقل في المنطقة وخدمة قاصديها، مشيراً إلى أن هذه المشاريع نُفذت وفق أعلى معايير السلامة والجودة ووفق معايير كود الطرق السعودي، إضافة إلى دعم شبكة الطرق التي تتمتع بها المنطقة، التي تتجاوز 5304 كم.
The Emir of the Asir region, Prince Turki bin Talal, held meetings with the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser, and the leadership of the system, to follow up on several strategic files supporting Asir’s ascent. These included the completion of remaining road projects, the development of the current Abha International Airport, and the main road linking Asir and Jazan, in addition to the system’s plans to enhance the region’s readiness as part of the Kingdom’s preparations to host the 2034 World Cup.
Prince Turki bin Talal launched 9 developmental road projects with a total cost of 473 million riyals and a total length of 252 km, which enhances the region’s road network that exceeds 5304 km and supports the spatial connectivity that is one of the most important strategic enablers for Asir’s ascent.
Prince Turki bin Talal affirmed that these projects reflect the generous support and great interest that the wise leadership gives to the development and advancement of all regions of the Kingdom, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life and promote sustainable development, appreciating the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services with its sectors and integrated system, providing distinguished services that contribute to enhancing comprehensive development in the Asir region and its governorates.
The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services explained that these projects come as an extension of the wise leadership’s support for the transport and logistics services sector, especially since the inaugurated road projects will contribute to enhancing mobility in the region and serving its visitors, noting that these projects were implemented according to the highest safety and quality standards and in accordance with the Saudi Road Code, in addition to supporting the road network that the region enjoys, which exceeds 5304 km.
