كشف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أن الولايات المتحدة في المراحل الأخيرة لاتفاق «جيد» مع إيران، مرجحا التوقيع عليه خلال يومين أو ثلاثة. وأعلن أن الصفقة الجديدة تمنع إيران من امتلاك سلاح نووي ويفتح مضيق هرمز فوراً.
الحصار البحري أقوى من القصف
وأكد في تصريحات بعد حضوره المباراة النهائية لدوري كرة السلة للمحترفين في نيويورك، أمس الإثنين، الحصار على الموانئ الإيرانية مستمر، وتوقع إعلان «نصر كامل» خلال أسبوعين في حربه مع إيران.
وشدد ترمب على أن الحصار البحري «أثبت أنه أشد تأثيراً بكثير من القصف»، وقال إن «الاتفاق سيكون أقوى من القصف». ولفت إلى أن إيران وإسرائيل وافقتا على وقف إطلاق النار المتبادل بينهما عقب أخطر تصعيد للتوترات بين الجانبين منذ دخول وقف إطلاق النار حيز التنفيذ في 8 أبريل.
ورفض إلقاء اللوم على رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو على رده على الهجوم الإيراني، مضيفاً أنه أجرى معه «مكالمة رائعة»، بعدما قرر نتنياهو شن هجوم على إيران، رغم مطالبة ترمب له بعدم الرد على صواريخ إيران، وتحذيره من أنه «قد يجد نفسه يقاتل إيران وحده».
وتابع: «أجرينا مكالمة رائعة، تعرض نتنياهو للقصف، ورد بضربات، ولا ألومه في ذلك، والآن توقفا، وسيتركا بعضهما البعض وشأنهما لمدة أسبوع أو شيء من هذا القبيل».
فتح المضيق بعد توقيع الاتفاق
وأضاف ترمب: “نحن في المراحل النهائية لاتفاق سيكون جيداً جداً جداً، ولن يسمح بأي شكل أو صورة بامتلاك إيران لأسلحة نووية. وجدد التأكيد على أن المضيق سيفتح على الفور. سيفتح مباشرة بمجرد التوقيع، وهو ما قد يحدث خلال يومين أو ثلاثة أيام”. وقال إنه لا يعتقد بوجود أي نقاط خلاف عالقة، وإن جميع الأطراف «قريبة جداً»، من التوصل إلى اتفاق.
وبشأن المروحية الأمريكية التي سقطت في مضيق هرمز الإثنين، قال ترمب إن الطيارين «بخير»، وإن تقريراً بشأن الحادث سيصدر الثلاثاء.
وكان ترمب قال في تصريحات الإثنين، إن الولايات المتحدة ستعلن «نصراً كاملاً» في حربها مع إيران خلال الأسبوعين القادمين.
تجنب حافة مواجهة أوسع
وأفصح موقع «أكسيوس»، أن ترمب حذر نتنياهو خلال اتصال مباشر من أن استئناف الحرب مع إيران قد يترك تل أبيب تواجه طهران بمفردها.
واعتبر الموقع أن ترمب نجح في إبعاد إسرائيل وإيران عن حافة مواجهة أوسع.
وبحسب «أكسيوس»، وجد ترمب نفسه أمام معضلة، فمن جهة، كان يدرك أن من الصعب على نتنياهو تجاهل هجوم صاروخي إيراني مباشر، ومن جهة أخرى كان يخشى أن يؤدي تبادل الضربات إلى حرب شاملة. وقال ترمب للموقع، في مقابلة هاتفية، إنه «حذر نتنياهو من أنه إذا عاد إلى الحرب مع إيران، فقد يجد نفسه يقاتل وحيداً».

The maritime blockade is stronger than bombing
In statements made after attending the NBA Finals in New York on Monday, he confirmed that the blockade on Iranian ports continues, and he expects to announce a “complete victory” in his war with Iran within two weeks.
Trump emphasized that the maritime blockade “has proven to be much more effective than bombing,” and said that “the agreement will be stronger than bombing.” He noted that Iran and Israel agreed to a mutual ceasefire following the most serious escalation of tensions between the two sides since the ceasefire took effect on April 8.
He refused to blame Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his response to the Iranian attack, adding that he had a “great call” with him after Netanyahu decided to launch an attack on Iran, despite Trump’s request for him not to respond to Iran’s missiles and warning him that he “might find himself fighting Iran alone.”
He continued: “We had a great call, Netanyahu was bombed, and he responded with strikes, and I don’t blame him for that, and now they have stopped, and they will leave each other alone for a week or something like that.”
Opening the strait after signing the agreement
Trump added: “We are in the final stages of an agreement that will be very, very good, and will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons in any form or shape. He reiterated that the strait will open immediately. It will open right after the signing, which could happen within two or three days.” He said he does not believe there are any outstanding points of contention, and that all parties are “very close” to reaching an agreement.
Regarding the American helicopter that crashed in the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, Trump said the pilots are “fine,” and a report on the incident will be released on Tuesday.
Trump had stated on Monday that the United States would announce a “complete victory” in its war with Iran within the next two weeks.
Avoiding the brink of a wider confrontation
The Axios website revealed that Trump warned Netanyahu during a direct call that resuming war with Iran could leave Tel Aviv facing Tehran alone.
The site considered that Trump succeeded in keeping Israel and Iran away from the brink of a wider confrontation.
According to Axios, Trump found himself in a dilemma; on one hand, he realized that it would be difficult for Netanyahu to ignore a direct Iranian missile attack, and on the other hand, he feared that an exchange of strikes could lead to a full-scale war. Trump told the site in a phone interview that he “warned Netanyahu that if he went back to war with Iran, he might find himself fighting alone.”
