أكد عدد من المشاركين والمتحدثين في حفل جائزة غازي القصيبي بدورتها الثالثة في العاصمة الرياض، أن الجائزة نجحت في ترسيخ حضور إرث الراحل الدكتور غازي القصيبي، واستمرار تأثيره في مجالات الثقافة والإدارة والتنمية، مشيرين إلى أن ما تشهده من حضور متجدد يعكس مكانة الراحل وما تركه من أثر ممتد في المجتمع.
وأكد رئيس الهيئة الإشرافية لكرسي غازي القصيبي د. عبدالواحد الحميد لـ«عكاظ» أن الجائزة مشروع وطني يحتفي بالمنجز المؤثر ويعزز ثقافة المبادرة والتميز.
وأشار في حديثه إلى أن الفائزين في الدورة الحالية قدموا نماذج حققت أثراً ملموساً ومستداماً، امتداداً للرسالة التي تحملها الجائزة في تخليد إرث الدكتور غازي القصيبي وإبراز التجارب الملهمة في المجتمع.
وأوضح أمين عام جائزة غازي القصيبي الدكتور عمر بن عبدالعزيز السيف لـ«عكاظ» أن الحضور الكبير الذي شهده الحفل يعكس مكانة الجائزة وما تمثله من قيمة ثقافية وتنموية، مشيراً إلى أن لجان التحكيم والتقييم بذلت جهداً مكثفاً خلال مراحل الفرز والمراجعة وفق معايير دقيقة وعالية لضمان وصول الجائزة إلى الجهات والمشاركين الأكثر استحقاقاً.
وأضاف السيف أن التحدي الأكبر تمثل في اختيار الفائزين من بين مبادرات وتجارب متميزة، نظراً لجودة المشاركات ومستوى التنافس، مؤكداً أن فرق العمل ولجان التقييم اجتهدت للوصول إلى أفضل المشاركات المستحقة للجائزة، ومباركاً للفائزين هذا الإنجاز.
من جانبه، عبّر فارس غازي القصيبي لـ«عكاظ» عن فخره واعتزازه باستمرار الجائزة التي تحمل اسم والده، مؤكداً أنها تحتفي بالمبادرات والتجارب المؤثرة في المجتمع وتواصل إبراز النماذج الملهمة في مختلف المجالات.
وقال: إن حضوره الحفل صاحبه مزيج من مشاعر الفرح والحزن، خصوصاً عند استحضار القصائد المرتبطة بوالده وإرثه الأدبي، معرباً عن سعادته بما تشهده الجائزة من حضور متجدد واستمرار للأثر الذي تركه الدكتور غازي القصيبي في الثقافة والإدارة والعمل العام.
من جانبه أوضح مدير مكتب الدكتور غازي القصيبي، هزاع العاصمي لـ«عكاظ» أن استمرار الجائزة وحضورها عاماً بعد عام يؤكدان أن أثر القصيبي ما زال ممتداً في المجتمع والثقافة والإدارة، مبيناً أن مشاهدة هذا الامتداد بعد رحيله تمثل شعوراً جميلاً يعكس قيمة ما قدمه من فكر وإرث وإنجازات لا تزال حاضرة حتى اليوم.
من جهتها أكدت الفائزة بجائزة غازي القصيبي في فرع التنمية والإدارة الدكتورة أضوى الدخيل لعكاظأن فوزها يمثل مسؤولية مضاعفة وحافزاً للاستمرار في تقديم مبادرات وبرامج ذات أثر مستدام، مشيدة بمكانة الجائزة وما تحمله من قيمة معنوية كبيرة.
وثمنت الدخيل جهود القائمين على الجائزة ودورهم في ترسيخ ثقافة التميز والاحتفاء بالنماذج الملهمة والمؤثرة، مؤكدة أن مثل هذه الجوائز تسهم في تشجيع المبادرات النوعية وتعزيز أثرها في المجتمع، وأن الفوز بها يشكل دافعاً لمواصلة العمل وتقديم المزيد من المبادرات ذات الأثر الإيجابي.
وشهد حفل الجائزة تكريم الفائزين في فروع الأدب والتنمية والإدارة والتطوع، وسط حضور من المسؤولين والأكاديميين والمثقفين والمهتمين بالشأن الثقافي والتنموي، في مناسبة استحضرت مسيرة الدكتور غازي القصيبي وإسهاماته الفكرية والإدارية والأدبية التي لا تزال حاضرة في ذاكرة الوطن.
A number of participants and speakers at the third edition of the Ghazi Al-Qusaibi Award in the capital Riyadh confirmed that the award has succeeded in establishing the legacy of the late Dr. Ghazi Al-Qusaibi and in continuing his influence in the fields of culture, management, and development. They pointed out that the renewed presence it witnesses reflects the stature of the late and the lasting impact he left on society.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ghazi Al-Qusaibi Chair, Dr. Abdulwahid Al-Humaid, told “Okaz” that the award is a national project that celebrates impactful achievements and enhances a culture of initiative and excellence.
He noted in his remarks that the winners of the current edition presented models that achieved a tangible and sustainable impact, extending the message carried by the award in commemorating the legacy of Dr. Ghazi Al-Qusaibi and highlighting inspiring experiences in society.
The Secretary-General of the Ghazi Al-Qusaibi Award, Dr. Omar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saif, explained to “Okaz” that the large attendance at the ceremony reflects the significance of the award and what it represents in terms of cultural and developmental value. He pointed out that the judging and evaluation committees exerted intensive efforts during the sorting and review stages according to precise and high standards to ensure that the award reaches the most deserving entities and participants.
Al-Saif added that the biggest challenge was selecting the winners from among distinguished initiatives and experiences, given the quality of the submissions and the level of competition. He confirmed that the working teams and evaluation committees worked diligently to reach the best submissions deserving of the award, congratulating the winners on this achievement.
For his part, Faris Ghazi Al-Qusaibi expressed to “Okaz” his pride and honor in the continuation of the award that bears his father’s name, affirming that it celebrates impactful initiatives and experiences in society and continues to highlight inspiring models in various fields.
He said that his presence at the ceremony was accompanied by a mix of joy and sadness, especially when recalling the poems associated with his father and his literary legacy, expressing his happiness at the renewed presence of the award and the continuation of the impact that Dr. Ghazi Al-Qusaibi left in culture, management, and public work.
On his part, the Director of Dr. Ghazi Al-Qusaibi’s office, Hazaa Al-Asimi, told “Okaz” that the continuity of the award and its presence year after year confirms that Al-Qusaibi’s impact is still extending in society, culture, and management, indicating that witnessing this extension after his passing represents a beautiful feeling that reflects the value of what he contributed in terms of thought, legacy, and achievements that are still present today.
For her part, the winner of the Ghazi Al-Qusaibi Award in the field of development and management, Dr. Adwa Al-Dakheel, told “Okaz” that her win represents a doubled responsibility and an incentive to continue providing initiatives and programs with a sustainable impact, praising the significance of the award and the great moral value it carries.
Al-Dakheel appreciated the efforts of those in charge of the award and their role in establishing a culture of excellence and celebrating inspiring and impactful models, confirming that such awards contribute to encouraging qualitative initiatives and enhancing their impact in society, and that winning them serves as a motivation to continue working and providing more initiatives with a positive impact.
The award ceremony witnessed the honoring of winners in the fields of literature, development, management, and volunteering, amidst the presence of officials, academics, intellectuals, and those interested in cultural and developmental affairs, in an event that recalled the journey of Dr. Ghazi Al-Qusaibi and his intellectual, administrative, and literary contributions that are still present in the nation’s memory.
