واصلت إيران اعتداءاتها السافرة على الكويت والبحرين والأردن، وأعلنت الدول الثلاث، اليوم (الأربعاء)، اعتراض وتدمير صواريخ ومسيرات إيرانية.
وذكرت وزارة الدفاع الكويتية أنها اعترضت أهدافاً جوية معادية فجراً، وفق الإجراءات العملياتية المعتمدة، فيما قالت قوة دفاع البحرين إن الدفاعات الجوية اعترضت ودمرت عدداً من الصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة الإيرانية، مؤكدة أن كافة أسلحتها على أهبة الاستعداد الدفاعي.
وجاء في بيان للقيادة العامة لقوة دفاع البحرين: «تواصل إيران نهجها العدائي الممنهج عبر اعتداءاتها الآثمة بالصواريخ والمسيرات التي تستهدف المدنيين في المملكة».
وشدد البيان على أن تعمد استخدام الصواريخ والمسيرات من قبل إيران يعد انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي.
وقال مصدر عسكري أردني إن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي الأردنية اعترضت وأسقطت مساء الثلاثاء، 5 صواريخ أطلقت من إيران باتجاه منطقة الأزرق بمحافظة الزرقاء.
وأضاف المصدر أن عملية الاعتراض نتج عنها سقوط عدد من الشظايا، دون وقوع أي إصابات بشرية أو أضرار مادية، مشيراً إلى أن الفرق الهندسية تعاملت من مخلفات تلك الصواريخ لضمان عدم وجود مواد متفجرة داخلها.
ولفت إلى أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية «تتابع التطورات والمستجدات الإقليمية الراهنة، وتعمل ضمن أعلى درجات الجاهزية لحماية أجواء المملكة والدفاع عن سيادتها وسلامة أراضيها».
وشدد على أن القوات المسلحة لن تسمح بأي انتهاك للمجال الجوي الأردني من أي طرف كان.
Iran continued its blatant assaults on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and the three countries announced today (Wednesday) the interception and destruction of Iranian missiles and drones.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense stated that it intercepted hostile aerial targets at dawn, in accordance with the approved operational procedures, while the Bahrain Defense Force reported that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed a number of Iranian missiles and drones, confirming that all of its weapons are on high alert for defense.
A statement from the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force said: “Iran continues its systematic aggressive approach through its criminal attacks with missiles and drones that target civilians in the Kingdom.”
The statement emphasized that the deliberate use of missiles and drones by Iran constitutes a blatant violation of international law.
A Jordanian military source stated that the Jordanian air defense systems intercepted and shot down 5 missiles launched from Iran towards the Al-Azraq area in Zarqa Governorate on Tuesday evening.
The source added that the interception resulted in the fall of several fragments, without any human injuries or material damage, noting that engineering teams dealt with the remnants of those missiles to ensure there were no explosive materials inside them.
He pointed out that the Jordanian Armed Forces “are monitoring the current regional developments and are operating at the highest levels of readiness to protect the Kingdom’s airspace and defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
He stressed that the armed forces will not allow any violation of Jordanian airspace by any party.
