اقترب البرتغالي جوزيه مورينيو من العودة إلى ريال مدريد لولاية تدريبية ثانية، بعدما ودّع نادي بنفيكا وجماهيره برسالة رسمية نشرها عبر حسابه على منصة «إنستغرام»، في خطوة تعكس اقتراب إتمام انتقاله إلى النادي الإسباني.
وكان بنفيكا قد أعلن في بيان رسمي أن ريال مدريد سدد قيمة الشرط الجزائي في عقد مورينيو، والبالغة 15 مليون يورو، ما أنهى ارتباط المدرب البرتغالي بالنادي ومهّد الطريق أمام انتقاله إلى العاصمة الإسبانية.
وفي رسالته الوداعية، أعرب مورينيو عن تقديره لرئيس بنفيكا روي كوستا، موجهاً له الشكر على الثقة التي منحته فرصة قيادة الفريق، مؤكداً أن تمثيل النادي البرتغالي شكّل بالنسبة له «شرفاً وامتيازاً كبيراً».
كما أشاد المدرب البرتغالي بجميع العاملين داخل النادي، مثنياً على ما أظهروه من احترافية والتزام وكفاءة طوال فترة عمله، قبل أن يخص لاعبي الفريق برسالة حملت طابعاً إنسانياً، قال فيها: «أتمنى لهم النجاح على المستويين الشخصي والمهني، وأغادر وأنا على قناعة بأننا بنينا علاقة دائمة، فمن كان لاعباً تحت قيادتي يوماً سيبقى دائماً أحد لاعبيّ».
ورغم أن ريال مدريد لم يعلن رسمياً حتى الآن تعيين مورينيو مديراً فنياً للفريق، فإن جميع المؤشرات تؤكد اقتراب إتمام الصفقة، بعد إنهاء الإجراءات التعاقدية مع بنفيكا.
وفي السياق ذاته، أفادت شبكة «سكاي سبورتس» بأن مورينيو غادر لشبونة متوجهاً إلى مدريد اليوم (الأربعاء)، لاستكمال الخطوات النهائية الخاصة بعودته إلى النادي الملكي، مشيرة إلى أن ريال مدريد يستعد لإصدار بيان رسمي يعلن من خلاله التعاقد مع المدرب البرتغالي بعقد يمتد لثلاثة أعوام.
وأضافت الشبكة أن مورينيو سيصطحب معه خمسة أعضاء من جهازه الفني، تمهيداً لبدء مرحلة جديدة على رأس الجهاز الفني للفريق المدريدي.
Portuguese coach José Mourinho is close to returning to Real Madrid for a second managerial stint, after bidding farewell to Benfica and its fans with an official message posted on his Instagram account, in a move that reflects the nearing completion of his transfer to the Spanish club.
Benfica had announced in an official statement that Real Madrid paid the buyout clause in Mourinho’s contract, which amounts to 15 million euros, thus ending the Portuguese coach’s association with the club and paving the way for his transfer to the Spanish capital.
In his farewell message, Mourinho expressed his appreciation to Benfica president Rui Costa, thanking him for the trust that allowed him the opportunity to lead the team, affirming that representing the Portuguese club was a “great honor and privilege” for him.
The Portuguese coach also praised all the staff within the club, commending the professionalism, commitment, and efficiency they showed throughout his tenure, before addressing the players with a heartfelt message, stating: “I wish them success on both personal and professional levels, and I leave with the conviction that we have built a lasting relationship; anyone who was a player under my leadership will always remain one of my players.”
Although Real Madrid has not yet officially announced Mourinho’s appointment as the team’s head coach, all indications confirm that the deal is nearing completion, following the conclusion of contractual arrangements with Benfica.
In the same context, Sky Sports reported that Mourinho left Lisbon heading to Madrid today (Wednesday) to complete the final steps regarding his return to the royal club, noting that Real Madrid is preparing to issue an official statement announcing the signing of the Portuguese coach on a contract that extends for three years.
The network added that Mourinho will bring with him five members of his coaching staff, in preparation for starting a new phase at the helm of the Madrid team’s coaching staff.
