أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (FIFA) تنظيم أكبر برنامج للفعاليات الجماهيرية المصاحبة لكأس العالم 2026، في المدن المستضيفة في الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك وكندا. وأوضح «فيفا» أن بطولة كأس العالم ستشهد إقامة 13 موقعا لمهرجانات المشجعين في المدن المستضيفة، لتوفر للجماهير مناطق مخصصة لمتابعة المباريات عبر شاشات عملاقة، إلى جانب عروض موسيقية وبرامج ثقافية وترفيهية وتجارب تفاعلية متنوعة، مشيراً إلى أن مهرجانات المشجعين ستمتد عبر نطاق جغرافي يقترب من أربعة آلاف كيلومتر بين الدول الثلاث المستضيفة كأكبر انتشار للفعالية منذ إطلاقها قبل 20 عاماً، متجاوزة النسخ السابقة من البطولة. وأكد إقامة فعاليات جماهيرية إضافية بالتعاون مع اللجان المنظمة في عدد من المدن، من بينها لوس أنجلوس ونيويورك ونيوجيرسي وفيلادلفيا، بما يتيح مزيدًا من الفرص للجماهير لمتابعة مباريات البطولة والمشاركة في أجوائها الاحتفالية. وتستضيف مواقع مهرجان المشجعين مدن أتلانتا وبوسطن ودالاس وهيوستن وكانساس سيتي ولوس أنجلوس وميامي وفيلادلفيا في الولايات المتحدة، وتورونتو وفانكوفر في كندا، ومكسيكو سيتي وغوادالاخارا ومونتيري في المكسيك، فيما ستقام فعاليات جماهيرية إضافية في عدد من المدن والمناطق ضمن البرنامج المصاحب للبطولة.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced the organization of the largest program of fan events accompanying the 2026 World Cup, in the host cities across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. FIFA explained that the World Cup will feature 13 locations for fan festivals in the host cities, providing fans with designated areas to watch the matches on giant screens, along with musical performances, cultural and entertainment programs, and various interactive experiences. It noted that the fan festivals will extend over a geographical range of nearly four thousand kilometers among the three host countries, marking the largest spread of the event since its launch 20 years ago, surpassing previous editions of the tournament. It confirmed the organization of additional fan events in collaboration with organizing committees in several cities, including Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, allowing more opportunities for fans to follow the tournament matches and participate in the festive atmosphere. The fan festival locations will include cities such as Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, and Philadelphia in the United States, as well as Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, and Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey in Mexico. Additional fan events will be held in several cities and areas as part of the accompanying program for the tournament.
