كشف الفنان السوري مكسيم خليل ملابسات عدم عودته إلى وطنه سورية في الوقت الحالي، مشيراً إلى أنه يمر بمرحلة حياتية تمنعه من اتخاذ هذه الخطوة وتجعله يترك الأمور للظروف.
الاستقرار الحقيقي
واعتبر في تصريحات إعلامية أدلى بها خلال استضافته في برنامج «منا وفينا»، الذي تقدمه الإعلامية هبة حيدري، بأن الاستقرار الحقيقي ينبع من الداخل ووجوده في أي مكان آخر هو تحصيل حاصل، مؤكداً بأن رغبته في العودة لسورية قائمة ومستمرة كونها بلده التي يحبها، إلا أن قرار العودة مرتبط بعوامل عدة ومقومات أساسية أبرزها توفر الأمن، والعدالة، وضمان عدم التعرض للأذى، إلى جانب وجود مجتمع متسامح ومتفاهم، مع توفر خدمات رئيسة كالتعليم.
أبعاد اجتماعية
وأشار خليل إلى وجود أبعاد اجتماعية أخرى تزيد من تردد البعض في العودة، لا سيما أولئك الذين قضوا نحو 14 عاماً خارج البلاد واندمج أبناؤهم في مجتمعات بديلة سواء في أوروبا أو غيرها، لافتاً إلى صعوبة انتزاع الأبناء من بيئة اعتادوا عليها، مثمناً في الوقت ذاته جهود كل من قرر العودة ونقل خبراته للمساهمة في بناء الوطن.
معايشة الموت
وقال خليل إنه لا يخشى الموت لأنه سبق واختبره فعلياً، مشيراً إلى أن معايشة الموت تتخذ صوراً مختلفة شعورية ونفسية، وليس فقط صورة واحدة مألوفة.
وتناول خلال اللقاء مفهوم الموت من زاوية فلسفية وإنسانية، معتبراً أن التفكير فيه جزء طبيعيّ من وعي الإنسان بوجوده، وليس أمراً بعيداً عن تفاصيل الحياة اليومية.

True Stability
In media statements he made during his appearance on the program “Mena w Fina,” hosted by media personality Hiba Haidari, he considered that true stability comes from within, and its existence in any other place is a mere consequence. He affirmed that his desire to return to Syria is ongoing and persistent, as it is the country he loves. However, the decision to return is linked to several factors and essential components, the most prominent of which are the availability of security, justice, and the guarantee of not being harmed, in addition to the presence of a tolerant and understanding community, along with essential services such as education.
Social Dimensions
Khalil pointed out that there are other social dimensions that increase some people’s hesitation to return, especially those who have spent about 14 years outside the country and whose children have integrated into alternative communities, whether in Europe or elsewhere. He noted the difficulty of uprooting children from an environment they have become accustomed to, while also appreciating the efforts of everyone who has decided to return and share their experiences to contribute to building the homeland.
Experiencing Death
Khalil stated that he does not fear death because he has already experienced it in reality, pointing out that experiencing death takes on different emotional and psychological forms, and is not just one familiar image.
During the interview, he discussed the concept of death from a philosophical and human perspective, considering that thinking about it is a natural part of human awareness of their existence, and is not something distant from the details of daily life.
