استعرضت الأمسية الأدبية التي حملت عنوان «لقاء أدبي بين أخوين موهوبين»، مسيرة أدبية مميزة بها كثير من الطموح والأمل، وذلك ضمن فعالية ثقافية، بحضور لفيف من المهتمين بالأدب والكتابة الإبداعية.
وأدارت اللقاء الدكتورة هيفاء إبراهيم فقيه، إذ سلطت في هذه الأمسية، والتي جاءت امتداداً لأمسيات سابقة للأخوين بمدينتي مكة المكرمة وجدة، الضوء على التجربة الأدبية لكل من الروائي اليافع مهنا خليل، والروائية الأصغر في المملكة غنى خليل، وهما ابنا المستشار الإعلامي الكاتب الصحفي خليل القريبي، واللذان قدما تجربتين أدبيتين متميزتين في التأليف والنشر خلال مراحل عمرية مبكرة.
واستعرض الروائي مهنا خليل مسيرته الروائية التي بدأت في سن الثالثة عشرة، متحدثاً عن تجربته في كتابة روايته الأولى «شاربل» الصادرة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، ثم روايته الثانية «آركانس» التي كتبها باللغة العربية، مشيراً إلى أن العمل جارٍ على إصدار جزء جديد منها يمثل الإصدار الأدبي الثالث في مسيرته، والمتوقع صدوره خلال الفترة القادمة.
من جانبها، تحدثت الروائية الأصغر غنى خليل عن تجربتها الأدبية التي انطلقت في سن طفولية مبكرة، لم تتجاوز العاشرة من عمرها حينذاك، حيث تمتلك حتى الآن ثلاثة مؤلفات، إذ جاءت روايتها الأولى باللغة الإنجليزية بعنوان The Dessert Road، تلتها روايتها الثانية Infinite Realm الصادرة باللغتين الإنجليزية واليابانية، فيما تمثل مؤلفها الثالث في كتاب أدبي يضم مجموعة من الشذرات والعبارات المستوحاة من تجارب الحياة باللغة العربية. وأوضحت غنى أن رحلتها مع الكتابة مستمرة، إذ تعمل حالياً على إصدارين جديدين؛ الأول كتاب باللغة الإنجليزية يضم شذرات وعبارات أدبية، فيما يتمثل الإصدار الخامس في رواية جديدة باللغة الإنجليزية أيضاً، في خطوة تعكس تنوع تجربتها الإبداعية وتوسعها في مخاطبة قراء من ثقافات ولغات مختلفة.
وتناولت الأمسية عدداً من المحاور المرتبطة بالكتابة الإبداعية، من أبرزها كيف يولد الروائي في عمر مبكر، ومعنى أن يكتب طفل أو يافع روايته الأولى في سن صغيرة، وبدايات تشكُّل الحكاية داخل الكاتب، إضافة إلى الحديث عن الهوية السردية، ودور الأدب في تشكيل الوعي وبناء الإنسان، وأثر الكتابة بلغات متعددة في توسيع آفاق التجربة الإبداعية.
وشهدت الأمسية تفاعلاً لافتاً من الحضور الذين ناقشوا الضيفين حول تجاربهما في الكتابة والنشر، والتحديات التي واجهتهما، والعوامل التي أسهمت في صقل موهبتيهما، في مشهد عكس الاهتمام المتنامي بالمواهب الأدبية الشابة في المملكة، والدور الذي تؤديه المبادرات الثقافية في دعمها وإبرازها. وأكدت الأمسية أن تجربة الشقيقين تمثل نموذجاً ملهماً للمواهب الشابة في مجال الأدب والكتابة الإبداعية، إذ نجحا في تحويل شغف القراءة والكتابة إلى مشاريع نشر حقيقية في أعمار مبكرة، بما يعكس البيئة الأسرية المحيطة، والبيئة الثقافية الوطنية الداعمة للمواهب، والدور المتنامي للأدب في تمكين الأجيال الجديدة من التعبير عن أفكارها ورؤاها عبر مختلف اللغات والثقافات.
واختُتمت الأمسية بحوار مفتوح وتوقيع عدد من الإصدارات، وسط إشادة الحضور بما قدمه الضيفان اليافعان من نماذج ملهمة تؤكد قدرة الأطفال والشباب على الحضور المبكر في المشهد الثقافي والإبداعي، والمساهمة في إثرائه بإنتاج أدبي نوعي ومتجدد.
The literary evening titled “A Literary Meeting Between Two Talented Brothers” showcased a remarkable literary journey filled with ambition and hope, as part of a cultural event attended by a group of literature and creative writing enthusiasts.
The meeting was moderated by Dr. Haifa Ibrahim Faqih, who highlighted the literary experiences of the young novelist Muhanna Khalil and the youngest novelist in the Kingdom, Ghina Khalil, during this evening, which was a continuation of previous evenings held for the brothers in the cities of Mecca and Jeddah. Both are children of the media advisor and journalist Khalil Al-Quraibi, and they presented two distinguished literary experiences in authorship and publishing at an early age.
Novelist Muhanna Khalil reviewed his literary journey, which began at the age of thirteen, discussing his experience in writing his first novel “Sharbel,” published in both Arabic and English, followed by his second novel “Arkans,” which he wrote in Arabic. He indicated that work is underway on a new part of it, representing the third literary release in his career, expected to be published in the coming period.
For her part, the youngest novelist Ghina Khalil spoke about her literary experience, which began at a very young age, not exceeding ten years at that time. She currently has three published works, with her first novel in English titled The Dessert Road, followed by her second novel Infinite Realm, published in both English and Japanese. Her third work is a literary book that includes a collection of snippets and phrases inspired by life experiences in Arabic. Ghina explained that her journey with writing is ongoing, as she is currently working on two new releases; the first is a book in English that includes literary snippets and phrases, while the fifth release is a new novel also in English, reflecting the diversity of her creative experience and her expansion in addressing readers from different cultures and languages.
The evening addressed several themes related to creative writing, most notably how a novelist is born at an early age, the significance of a child or young person writing their first novel at a young age, the beginnings of story formation within the writer, in addition to discussing narrative identity, the role of literature in shaping consciousness and building individuals, and the impact of writing in multiple languages on expanding the horizons of creative experience.
The evening witnessed notable interaction from the audience, who discussed with the two guests their experiences in writing and publishing, the challenges they faced, and the factors that contributed to honing their talents, in a scene that reflected the growing interest in young literary talents in the Kingdom, and the role of cultural initiatives in supporting and highlighting them. The evening confirmed that the experience of the two siblings represents an inspiring model for young talents in the field of literature and creative writing, as they succeeded in transforming their passion for reading and writing into real publishing projects at an early age, reflecting the surrounding family environment, the supportive national cultural environment for talents, and the growing role of literature in empowering new generations to express their ideas and visions across different languages and cultures.
The evening concluded with an open dialogue and the signing of several publications, amidst the attendees’ praise for the inspiring examples presented by the young guests, affirming the ability of children and youth to make an early presence in the cultural and creative scene and contribute to enriching it with quality and renewed literary production.
